Y/N POV
When you love someone, you don't let them go right. Well, that wasn't the case here. You see, Katie and I had been together for a year till she broke up with me. We were both playing for Arsenal, but once we broke up, I decided it was time to head home.
My departure from Arsenal came as a shock to everyone. I had been at the club for three years and now was gone. Playing for Barca was all I had ever wanted. They were such a fantastic club, and the people there were terrific.
The Champions League was coming up, meaning I would be playing against Arsenal. I wasn't nervous about the game; I was anxious to see the Irish girl I had once loved so much. It would be a challenging game, but I knew Barca would win.
I was getting ready to get to the pitch, but as I was waiting for Ale, Katie exited the locker room. We made eye contact, but I was quick to cut it short. My head needed to be focused on the game, not on someone I had once loved.Ale made her way out of the locker room, where she quickly grabbed my hand and made our way to the field. What I failed to notice was the look Katie was giving Ale.
During the match, Barca had most of the ball, as expected. As Ale got the ball, I made my run down the line, and as Ale was about to release the ball, Katie came in from behind and took her out.
I quickly made my way to Ale, asking if she was OK, and she responded with a nod, and I extended my hand to help her. Watch yourself, Mcabee. It would also be said to see you on the floor, and with that, I walked past her.
Barca was up by one, and Katie was taking the ball. I started running towards her and sliding to get the ball, but I made sure to clip her ankle while I was skating, and with that, she flopped on the ground holding her ankle.
The arsenal girls were quick to come towards me and push me around.
REF, she flopped I didn't touch her
Get up, Katie I didn't do shit to you
A medic came to check on her; as I said, she was okay. She was just being dramatic. But the stunt I pulled put a target on my back. All the Arsenal girls tried to cut my legs off at every chance. I had just scored, but my knee was killing me, as Leah came studs up directly at my knee.
We had won the champions league, and I couldn't be more happy we were currently celebrating when some of the Arsenal girls started making their way toward me, and I couldn't walk away seeing as I was in crutches from the tackle Leah did on me.
Katie came forward and started apologizing for many things, but I could care less about how she had been treating me I didn't need this right now.
I can't do this right now Katie I just won don't kill my mood.
