vinnie flew back the night after the ordeal with ashanti and omarion. once he was finally home, he and ashanti could not stop talking with each other.
everything that happened left ashanti in a vulnerable position that she didn't want to admit to and vinnie took it upon himself to reassure ashanti.
he texted her every morning and every night, checking in, making sure she was eating and taking care of her injuries.
fast forward to now, the two had been facetiming all day, vinnie coming back from pause after maybe ten minutes.

vinnie laughed, he had a hat on on, pushing back is overgrown curls.

ashanti rolled their eyes, "are you excited about the fight? almost a week left.."
vinnie nodded after a second, 'for the most part. there's a piece in me that's very nervous.'
ashanti shook her head, "that's expected.. but you got it, i know you do. you'll lock in and win."
vinnie smiled softly, 'is my biggest fan still planning on going?'
"oh do not worry. you'll know when xan and i are there." ashanti laughed.
'that's amazing to hear. you can even stay in the house while you're in town..? i would feel horrible sticking you in a rundown motel..'
ashanti smiled herself, "that sounds like a great idea. xan and i really appreciate that v."
'i'll let the guys know. but in the meantime, DON'T THINK I FORGOT— GO HYPE ME UP'!
