11: Fights and Flights

"Good morning aviators." Maverick said while walking into the room, "today we will be working on the same things as yesterday. With the same bet on the line." A bunch of pilots let out a small sigh after he spoke his last sentence. Every single pilot had to do pushups expect for Ana, and she was planning to do the same thing today.

Over the day Maverick had never lost. Even against Ana. It had been really close but he had gotten the shot on her. He even had admitted how good of a pilot she was after they had landed. She just gave a fake smile and left.

Now it was near the end of the day and the last people flying were being called to go up, "Last flys of the day is Phoenix/Bob, Hangman and Rooster you are on deck." With that he left the room.

"Gross your stuck flying with Jakea$$. Sorry man." Ana apologized to Bradley. "Wish I would be flying with you. Could actually get the chance to bring Maverick down. Hangman just leaves you out to dry." After he finished his sentence he got up out of his seat and made his way towards the planes. "Good luck!" Ana slightly screamed. He thanked her by turning around and smiling at her. His big bright smile smiling back at her, his golden wavy locks bouncing each time he took a step, the sun slowly engulfing his body in it's rays as he walked out of the shade. God he was hot.

"Hey." Phoenix snapped Ana out of her trance. God was she staring at him? "Staring at the bird?" Phoenix smirked. "Ew gross no. We are just best friends. I was giving him a supporting smile since you guys are going against Hangman. Good luck by the way." She was trying to change the subject, "Dude no you were totally staring. I mean he isn't bad looking." Ana hit her playfully, "Anyways me and Bob got some a$$ to kick so we have to go." God was she actually staring at him like that? No way there were just friends.

Bradley and Hangman were flying side by side, Phoenix and Bob were out in front a little bit. All of the sudden Maverick came zooming past them.

"Geez!" Hangman yelled. "Break left! Get back to cover Phoenix and Bob!" Bradley instructed. "Just wait!" Hangman said flying the opposite way he told him to.

"Goddammit Hangman." Bradley hissed under his breath so no one could hear.

"Now that's a move I haven't seen in awhile. Leaving your wingman." Maverick smirked knowing he was going to be able to beat them all.

"Hangman! He's on our tail!" Phoenix shouted very annoyed. Bob kept looking back at Maverick to instruct Phoenix on where to go. A couple moments later a beeping sound went off in their plane. "Dammit!" Phoenix screamed while taking her oxygen mask off.

Shortly after he had killed Phoenix and Bob Hangman was on Mavericks tail. Mav just kept moving and spinning while flying so Hangman couldn't get a lock on him. This idea wasn't working and it was going to take too long, so Maverick flew up towards the sun and Hangman followed like an idiot. The sun blinded their eyes but Maverick quickly pulled out of the direction towards the sun and looped back around to get Jake.

"Phoenix! How close am I?" Hangman asked covering the sun out of his eyes, "I'm dead dickhead." She smiled at her comment, "See you in the afterlife Bagman." Bob added on.

Soon Maverick had gotten around and got Hangman locked in. "That's a kill" Maverick said, Hangman turned around to see the pilot right behind him.

Bradley had been out flying somewhere else and Hangman found him and flew right next to him, "So. What's the story with you, Ana and the Captain?" Hangman asked wanting to know more information about their past. "Nothing happened. Where is he?"

Maverick came up between the two F/A-18s and did is signature cobra maneuver. Maverick was inverted above Rooster facing him and Rooster looked up at him with a killing look. "Common, lets get this over with." Maverick pushed.
