It was the day Elena felt her stomach whirl as she put her prom dress on thinking about what would go down at the prom
She left her house waving at jack who was in the driveway she got in the car and he was mesmerized " woah Elena you look so good" jack said and elena smiled "you don't look to bad yourself" she said and they were off

The music was really loud but Elena liked loud music on the other hand jack hated it "let's go dance" Elena said and jack smiled and went with her the whole prom jack seemed awkward not how he usually was
"Hey Elena" Elena looked over her shoulder to see jade and Veronica
"Well you too really did end up together" Elena said smiling "would have never thought"
"I just wanted to let you know that the prom king and queen voting started, good luck!" Veronica said and elena was confused she had been nominated but by who? She walked over to the stand and dropped in her vote

Shawn hunter for king
They were both Elena's friends and she didn't think Cory would mind
Elena went back to doing her own thing till they started to announce the winners
"Good evening, John adams high!" A man said from the stage
"Now I know you will probably want me to get right to it so I'm gonna. The prom king for this year"
"Shawn hunter!!"
Everyone cheered and clapped
And so did Elena this was expected Shawn was the schools heartthrob and he was just hit in general
"Now for the big one this years prom queen of John adams highschool
BLAIR LITTLE!!" He shouted and everyone applauded and so did Elena she didn't hold grudges and even though it still hurt her inside that everyone believed her she didn't hold that against her
Blair took the microphone and started her speech
"Okay so I know this year has been tough for all of us especially on me since all of these rumors started" Elena had heard enough the "rumors" were all started by Blair to have Elena look like a bitch and fuck the no holding grudges thing that's what Elena told herself to do but no she still had that feeling the feeling when somebody's a bitch and you just wanna knock them the fuck out
But she didn't do that she knew better
"And yeah I'm just so great-full" Blair finished and people clapped then it was Shawn's turn
"Okay so this might flip things around but it was all a lie a massive lie-" he started to say but Blair tried to take the mic away so he shouted "Blair little is a liar and everyone deserves to know Elena is the victim here and for all of you calling her a slut and a homewrecker!  I'm just gonna let you know I have liked elena morr since I was six so the only homewrecker here is Blair!" He looked right at Elena and smiled "I love you Elena"
Everyone went silent and Blair ran off stage but Elena had no response she looked at jack and he looked relived
"Jack?" Elena questioned and he smiled "I'm so glad he likes you cuz elena I don't know if you caught on the past few weeks but I like Eric, I just didn't know how to tell you" Elena smiled "really! I should have figured" and looked back at Shawn
"Thank you Shawn but we should discuss this elsewhere"
