"Caaaaam," I groaned, pushing his shoulder. "Just tell me! Where are we going?"

"It's a surprise," he replied, and I knew he was grinning. I sighed and shook my head.

"Why can't you just tell me?" I asked.

"Use your common sense," he laughed. I swore at him, and he took the blindfold off. "It'll look odd if I take you to the park with a blindfold on."

"Park...4th of July...oh. I'm an idiot," I sighed. Cam laughed.

"It's ok, babe. I didn't marry you for your intellect," he teased. We started walking up the sidewalk to the park.

"Rude!" I exclaimed sassily. "That was rude!"

"I know. I'm an ass," he laughed. I shoved his shoulder.

"Luke coming tonight?" I asked.

"Yeah. He and Danielle are," Cam nodded.

"Danielle?" I furrowed my eyebrows.

"Yeah, Danielle Belichick," Cam replied. "They've been dating for a long time."

"How long?" I asked.

"Couple years. They've been keeping it under heavy wraps. Her ex is a little crazy, I guess," Cam shrugged. "At least, that's what she told Luke. Which is what he told me."

"Wait, so he's dating Nikki's adopted sister?" I asked.

"You mean Julian's wife?" he asked, taking my hand. I nodded.

"Yeah. We need to get together with them, soon," I told him. He said agreed. "So he's dating Dani Belichick. He's so lucky he's not a Patriot. If he was, he'd be dead," I laughed. "Wow. I can't believe he's dating Bill Belichick's daughter."

"Yeah. I can't wait to embarrass him!" Cam had a gleeful grin on his face, much like that of a child on Christmas.

"No! You can't embarrass my Luke," I told him. "I get to embarrass him first!"

"We're horrible," he chuckled, and I nodded in agreement. We were horrible.

"He's a grown man. He can take it," I shrugged. Cam laughed again, and we entered the park. We grabbed a seat where no one else was, and it was nice and peaceful. I looked at Cam.

"This is lovely; thank you."

"You're welcome," he grinned. The sky was dark.

"I'm gonna find Luke."

"Alright. I'll be here."

I texted Luke.

*where are youuuuuu ??*

*by that massive oak tree*

I walked around until I saw a massive oak tree. I saw a blanket and a couple sitting on a blanket. I ran up to them and sat down on the blanket behind the tall figure that was Luke.

"Boo!" I teased.

"AAAAAH!" he shrieked. The girl next to him laughed, a beautiful girl. She had big green eyes and long blonde hair. She was super athletic looking, and she was absolutely stunning.

"Hello, my dearest Luke," I grinned.

"That was rude!" he pouted. "Dani, this is Cam's wife, Sadie."

"Sorry. Hi, Danielle. I'm Sadie Newton, Cam's wife," I grinned.

"Hi, Sadie. I'm Danielle Belichick, as you already know," she laughed.

"Yeah, I do. I'm friends with your sister, Nikki. And Julian."

"I haven't seen Nikki in forever," she smiled. "Or little Ashton either."

She looked like she was going to say something else, but she shut her mouth. Then she smiled again.

"Oh yeah. How is he?" I asked. She smiled again.

"Great, according to Nikki. You guys are going up to Massachusetts soon, right? Preseason?"

"Yes ma'am. And Luke, can I talk to you for a minute?" I asked. Luke nodded, standing up.

"Sure."

We stepped away for a moment, and I sighed at Luke.

"What?" he asked.

"Why didn't you tell me?" I asked. "You should've told me, Luke!"

"We haven't been dating that long," he shrugged. "Besides, she wanted to keep it under wraps."

"Yeah, Cam said that," I nodded. "How come? Who's her ex?"

He sighed, and he looked almost ashamed.

"Danny."

"Dani?" I asked confusedly.

"Danny," he repeated. "As in Daniel Amendola."

"Shit," I said, raising my eyebrows. He nodded.

"Yeah, I know."

"Well I thought I'd ask. The four of us should go out to dinner, one of these nights," I said. He nodded.

"Sure."

"I'll let you go back to your date, then," I said, smiling. "I'll see you soon."

I gave Luke a big hug.

"Bye, Sades."

"Bye, kiddo." Then I said to Danielle, "It was good to meet you!"

"You as well!" she smiled.

"Alright, well, like I said, I'm gonna let you two get back to your date," I teased Luke. I pinched Luke's cheek. "Love ya, dorko. Have fun."

"Thanks, Sades."

"Lovely meeting you, Danielle. Use protection!" I called. Luke's face reddened, and I heard Dani's laugh. I went back to Cam. It was completely dark, and there was no one around. I sat next to him and put my head on his shoulder.

"I love you," I mumbled into his collarbone. The fireworks burst overhead.
