We stood over the bodies, blankly staring at them.

"Shaleen, will they be ghosts too?" Wither asked, making Shaleen and I turn.

"No. Ghosts are the spirits of creatures or humans that have passed on naturally like old age or being eaten." She answered, Wither frowned.

"How is being eaten natural?" He asked.

"Because it's the circle of life. Everything has a predator to keep the population stable." I replied, tapping my thigh, bored. Kenna's ears perked.

"The guards are coming. Let's go." She said, running to the balcony. Everyone followed. We jumped down to a roof-top, expecting it to be steady but it collapsed under our feet. Most of us fell back first on the ground, while Kenna landed on her feet.

"Show off." I heard Wither mutter under his breath. We got to our feet as Shaleen tried to open the door.

"It's locked."  She said, pulling the handle. I saw Wither going to say something but I shot him a glare. The transparent girl went through the door, outside. We expected it to open but yet again, she reappeared.

"From the outside and in here." Kenna sighed, sitting down. "This isn't a bad place to stay though." I leant against a wall, the dust covering my back.

"I mean, she isn't wrong. We could hide from the guards here." I added. Everyone sighed, sitting or leaning against something in the old house. I wonder why this house wasn't rebuilt like all the others. Maybe it had some importance like this but....it didn't seem like it.  A sudden shake from the ground made us all tense up, ready to fight when a single Ground-Diver emerged from the ground. It was a light-ish brown, a lighter brown was splotched over it with two pairs of pitch black eyes on its head.  The mute creature looked around the room, processing us. Its mouth started reappearing, 3 inches long and spread wide across its blank face. We stepped back, ready for it to attack one of us or all of us at the same time. It pounced forward, straight at me. It's mouth wide, it could've swallowed me whole then and there but Kenna slid in front of me, daggers in her hand. The Ground-Diver screeched, loud enough to burst ear-drums if you were close enough, and launched itself toward Wither, who had transformed. It was much taller than Wither in his wolf form but Wither was smarter....in a way. He ran the other direction as it tumbled into the wall. A few things happened at once. The Ground-Diver screeched again, louder this time, enough to make everyone cover their ears in hope to block it out. Then, holes started appearing under us. Then we slid underground into the world of Ground-Divers. Then, it was just darkness. I had my eyes shut tightly when I felt a hand brush my cheek and a calm, soft voice calling my name.

"Seren? Seren, are you okay?" I opened my eyes, slowly. Shaleen was floating over me, smiling dearly. I sat up and groaned. Everyone else seemed to be unconcious.

"Is everyone okay?" I asked, concern slipping into my voice.

"Yep, well, they're all breathing. I don't know if they have any broken things but it doesn't seem like it." She replied, sitting down next to me. The world around us was lit up in luminescent paint or what it looked like to be. Did the Ground-Divers make it? Or was there something or someone that was here before? I shook my head slightly, trailing the swirls and curves with my eyes. Shaleen cleared her throat.

"So, I was just wondering, since we don't talk about this. Um, what's your sexuality?" She asked, looking at me, her head tilted slightly. I thought for a second. I hadn't thought about it. I liked everyone for who they were. Equally.

"Pansexual." I said, smiling at her, "You?"

"Lesbian." She repiled, looking out at the patterns. I followed her gaze, sighing and leaning back. Shaleen watched me, before suddenly bursting out, "I like you! Alot!" She covered her mouth, surprised at what she said. I sat up, again, processing what she had said.

"Really?" I asked, not convinced that she actually liked me in that way. Though, how she acted earlier, it did make sense but still. She nodded, her pale face having some colour. I cleared my throat awkwardly, "Well, that's great because I really like you too..." I said, quietly. She let out a breath. Then, she kissed me. She kissed me. I was shocked at first but slowly leaned into it. I closed my eyes. I felt her fingers run through my hair as I pulled her closer. She soon was on-top of me, our kiss getting more passionate the longer it went on. We pulled away from each other, breathless. I stared at her flustered figure, as she got redder once she processed what she did.

"What? Did you not like it~?" I asked with a playful tone. Shaleen hit me playfully.

"Shut up! I did but.....I didn't think I would do that. And so quickly too! I didn't even ask you if you wanted to be together!" I kissed her again, lightly this time and not as passionate.

"Does that answer your question?" I asked, she nodded. Shaleen was still on-top of me, not that I didn't like it but the others might be confused. I was about to say something when a familiar voice spoke.

"Whoah, what happened? Why are you two making out???" We looked and it was Wither back in his normal form, staring at us. Shaleen coughed and floated off of me, letting me straighten up. Wither frowned.

"Your gay????"
