Chapter 6

I began trying to run away but it was for nothing. As I stop and look around my surroundings to notice, I'm surrounded. Even though I can control the urge to pounce on humans, that doesn't necessarily mean that I can prevent it completely. I spot an empty alley and start to run at a somewhat moderate speed so that I can avoid two problems at once.

The alleyway was only able to take me so far until I had to return to the main road, the smell is getting more dense but as I was getting to start pushing through the crowd, instead I was being pushed back as the people just don't care about anyone that's trying to pass by. This selfish nature that humans have of not letting others pass by is one of the reasons that I don't like dealing with humanity anymore. The constant reminder of the past that I would never like to return to.

I could only take so much shoving before I got frustrated. So, after this last man had push me so he could get ahead, I had enough and started to  shove people out of my way as I was trying to get the place that felt where my blood was pulsing the most at.

After a few minutes of shoving people out of the way. I finally make it outside of the city and entered the forest that was close by where I let this bright light surround my body as I start running towards where the blood that was given to that girl was resonating the most at.

—————————-————-———————-——————

Why is this damn forest so massive. It looks like I have been traveling in goddamn circles. Maybe my mind has started to crack from all the stress built up on the two years of unknowing information.

Forget that, I have to only think of the positives.

They both are alive, they are both alive. Alive? I hope they're alive.

I need to keeping going. I have a few more hours till I need to stop and look for somewhere to rest before daylight breaks.

—————————-————-———————-——————

Here I am sitting in a cave whilst the sunlight hitting across the land. It's a tad bit hard to see as the normally beaming light as it was being covered by the clouds, which also was causing rainfall. Although, it wasn't your common rain where it could drizzle for a small period of time, stop, start again, just to stop once again.

No, it was raining hard. You were able to see the drops of rain as they came down. The way they struck the ground, and would make the droplet bounce up once more before vanishing and sinking into the soil.

I sat down staring at rain fall. Reminding myself, just another 12 hours and I can continue my search for them. I repeat that to myself a few more times before closing my eyes.

Sleep wasn't necessary for demons. Yet, some still decided that was how they pass the time till the sun went its full rotation and decided to disappear.

Just how the human like the sunlight because many things bloom with the light that the sun produces. It is exactly the same for us with the moonlight. The dark yet still somewhat lit up sky with all the stars in view, how you can't really explain why even though how dangerous the night truly is, it still is just breathtakingly beautiful. Especially the moon, staring up at it can have you mesmerized by it.

The way it reflects on the water as the waves of it flow makes it seem as if the big ball in the sky is meant to be terrifying, scary, and gloomy. But, in the eyes of many others, the moon's mysterious look makes it look otherworldly, its pearlescent silvery color makes it seem as it has a hidden message.

—————————-————-———————-——————

I opened my eyes and the sun was no longer up.

I start getting up and stretching. I hear my joints pop from my arms, followed up by my legs, shoulders, I twist my neck to hear a loud snap before ending it by cracking my back.

I walk out of the cave and immediately start running towards the place I felt was where I needed to head towards.

Traveling at a decent pace, jumping from branch to branch of the trees in the way. I decided to finally jump over getting past the leaves of the trees.

Landing on another tree before looking up and stopping. Subconsciously a smile rose onto my face when I finally had looked and noticed.

"The moon looks rather lovely tonight."
