Chapter 35

Elise's Pov

"You look beautiful" Blake said kissing my cheek. "Thanks. You look handsome too"

" Lets go?" I nod my head and he opened the door for me, also buckling my seat belt. "Blake take care of her of I won't hesitate to shoot you in the head" Angelo warned. "Of course Angelo. If I did hurt her I welcome you to kill me." My brother nodded his head.

We arrived at the restaurant. It was simple but classy.

"Wow. There's literally no one here. Is it closed?"

"Nope. I rented the whole place."

"What?! But that's a waste of money blake!" He just smiled and said "I don't care, I have plenty. Besides, I want this day to be special. Just the two of us." I could feel my face burning. "Okay then."

Our food arrived fast and it tastes so yummy my gosh. "Wow, this is yummy." Blake stared at me lovingly and asked "can I taste some?" Yeah here!

I took a spoonful of the food expecting him to taste it but instead he swerves on my lips and plants one on me. His soft lips lasted there for a bit before he pulled out smirking. "Your right butterfly, it does taste good."

I just stared at him shocked. "Why do you have to be so beautiful huh?" He asked again. He went closer and his lips landed on mine once more. My eyes wide open but closed them afterwards. His lips are so soft, so sweet. He pulled out and caressed my cheeks and looked into my eyes. "I love you and I have something to say."

He took a deep breath and closed his eyes. "I don't think I can ever love someone other than you Elise. We dated for years, we've been through hardships, pain, lessons and happiness. When we broke up I realized the only person who could fix me was you. I love you so much that I can't live with out you. So I'll just ask this question, will you marry me?" He took out a white, gold box from his pocket.

I looked at him shocked. Still not processing what he said. "Elise? Are you okay?" His words snapped me out of it and I immediately shout "Yes! Damn yes I'll marry you" I jumped on him and kissed him. "Now you're my fiance, there's no going back." He smiled and kissed me once again. ❤︎

I guess I finally got my happy ever after.
