The sky was filled with thunder and lightning and at that sound Nila murmured Arjuna Arjuna(son of God Indran). Afraid to see lightning from the window light, she woke up from her bed and ran towards the hall and hugged Shiva's hand tightly who was working on the laptop.

What happened to you Nila, Shiva asked her calmly. Nila told Shiva that she was scared because the thunder was so loud and the lightning flashed.

With a small smile on his lips, he held her hand and said, Nila, don't be afraid of all this, it's just normal thunder and lightning.

SHe has been afraid of thunder and lightning since childhood. Nila and Shiva live in a separate house after the marriage.

Nila, modest and an innocent girl. She was born into a family where women get married right after finishing school. She lived as her family was the world. But Nila said that she wants to study and not get married, but her parents did not agree.

However her sister, Bhairavi, who is bold enough, fought with her parents and completed her college studies and went for work. According to Nila, parents' word is the Vedic word for her. Although Bhairavi advises her younger sister, Nila is afraid of her parents and listens to her sister's words and ignores them.

Nila's parents are among the few parents who feel that their duty is done with getting their daughters married, even if they send Nila to a matriculation school. But Nila's parents are not bad either. Any parent wants their children to do well. That is why Nila's father got Nila married to Shiva, who was a distant relative.

Shiva, a 24 year old handsome and a well behaved person who was working in a company with a salary of 35K/month. One who is not interested in love marriage. Don't think he hates married life. He wants to marry the girl whom his parents want to be his wife. It means purely an arranged marriage.

When Nila's parents decided to marry nila to Shiva. Bhairavi thought that her younger sister should also escape and make her study. But Nila's fate ended in marriage.

Yes, her fate ended in marrying Shiva. Before the marriage, (i.e) after an engagement between Nila and Shiva, Shiva wanted to know about Nila, so he inquired about Nila. He spoke with Bhairavi who was away from her home. Bhairavi thoroughly talked about the goods and bads of Nila and what she likes and hates the most and also what she wished. Even she said that she accepted this proposal only for her parents.

As Nila is only 18 years old, Bhairavi pleads Shiva not to marry Nila. By what Bhairavi had said in full, he knows and understands about Nila very well. Because the betrothal took place simply at home only with very close relations, even Nila didn't speak anything to him. He was confused whether she knew his name or not. So Shiva made a plan in his mind. He told Bhairavi that too. She also agreed that her sister's life should be better.

Within days of their marriage, he started admiring Nila's innocence and the love she exuded without pretense. One day, he made her sit in front of him on the sofa and asked if she likes to read. She nodded yes without thinking.

Would you study if you were admitted to college? Shiva asked and she remained silent as if hesitating.

Shiva, Say anything I am there for you always at all times. She hesitantly nodded yes. He asked her to say boldly whatever she wanted. He asked about her 12th standard public exam marks.

He was surprised when he heard her score. She has scored 587 marks out of 600 and is ranked second in the school. He scolded Nila's parents inside his heart.

The only thing she did was securing the second highest mark in school and Nila marrying Shiva, who cares for her now. When she married him, she went to Shiva and inquired what she should call him. He smiled and said that she can call him by his name Shiva.

I heard you have a sister. Where did she work? I didn't see your sister even in our marriage, he asked

Nila emotionally replies that she died in an accident last year. Shocked Shiva asks about it? Yes, she dies in a car accident within days after joining her job.

He still hasn't recovered from that shock. Then the woman introduced herself as Bhairavi and was confused as to who was talking to him. He does not believe in ghosts and spirits.

Nila started crying. He said sorry and calmed her. Suddenly he changed his speech. He told Nila to go to college. She was afraid that her parents would say something. Now you are not the daughter of Mr and Mrs. Vinayagam. You are one and only the wife of Mr. Shiva. Now are my property, Shiva said.

Then Nila got a call from her parents. Thinking that she might mention something about the college, Shiva asked her to put the phone on speaker. Nila's father asks her what is she doing and Nila looks at Shiva's face. Shiva asks her to say that she is watching television.

He enrolled Nila in a women's college.

She has been going to college for the past three months. Though she was afraid of dark, lightning and thunder, he was calming her down. She also said that she saw a shadow near the window when lightning occurred.

He managed to tell Nila that he only came to that side to drink water which was in the fridge. He was confused by the mystery and didn't believe Nila's words. But he was not afraid. Then at 11 pm he took Nila to the terrace. He feels that someone is following. They both leaned towards the wall and sat down on the terrace. Nila slept on his lap. He has been taking care of Nila like a child since marriage.

Nila was sleeping on his lap and he was using his cell phone. Then Shiva noticed a silhouette(Shadow like) coming from the stairs to the terrace. He opened his eyes wide and looked keenly at that silhouette.
