Raye POV

I entered the house with Marcus not removing my hand from the gun that was in the waistband of my pants.

Walking into the small deserted house a nasty smell of must and alcohol hitting my nose, causing me to flare my nostrils. "God it fucking stinks" Marcus whispered. I looked around the house seeing the many liquor bottles on the floor in the living room that was covered in a yellow color.

"Alright I check upstairs and you check downstairs" I spoke to Marcus not waiting for a reply. Heading for the stairs I creeped up quietly. Carefully avoiding the creaking noise of the old stairs. Reaching the top of the steps I spotted 4 doors. Deciding to open the door on my left.

Opening it up slowly, I was met with the bathroom. I looked around the small bathroom, more liquor bottles were laid out on the floor.

Damn it stinks

Before I could open the door that was next to it I heard Marcus call me. Running down the stairs I saw him standing there with a serious face, almost as if he were mad. "What happened?" I asked him standing at the bottom step.

He walked away silently telling me to follow him. I followed him into a room. When he turned the light on pictures of Layla we're hanging on the wall, some of when she used to work at the bar and just out in general. But what really caught my eye was picture of Sage.

My body twitched with anger as I saw my daughter up there. It's a picture of Layla holding her as we all sat in the living room of our home. That was the day when when some of my guys came over.

I stood at the picture confused and mad as to who would take this shit. I glanced at Marcus then focused at the picture once again. I tired to calm my body down but I couldn't trying to think of the person who would do this shit.

I tore the pictures down, ripping them apart and knocking down anything that was in my way. "Once I find out who ever did this shit...their dead"
I turned my body to Marcus seeing anger in his eyes as well.  Walking out of the room and entering the living room I saw Elliott standing there looking at a picture. "I told you to stay outside with the rest" I said walking over to him.

Elliott turned around with a smug look on his face. "I see you found the room". He straightened his jacket before looking into my eyes.

I knew this nigga was fake

"It was you" Marcus spoke standing next to me "ahhh you finally figured something out" I clenched my fist as my vision went blurry with anger. "I know you Nya, and I know you have a bad temper and I see you're trying to hold yourself together...so I'll get right to it"

He sat on the love seat "I found her before you, I wanted her first but it seem as if you always get what I want" I squinted my eyes at him "I remember the first time I saw Layla she was working at the bar and all I could notice was how good she looked. I was going to approach her but I didn't. But boy do I wish I did"

He spoke I a calm tone as if I wasn't about to take his life.

"That should have been my baby instead of yours Nya! I should be in your shoes, you don't deserve her I DO!" He cleared his throat smoothing out his suit "I wanted her first...so I took her" he shrugged.

"Took her how?" I grabbed my gun. He nodded his head with his eyes closed "I took her...meaning you may think she's home with that damn baby of yours...but she's not" I hit his jaw with the gun watching his tooth fall on the floor.
