Cheer was Ray Mond's comfort place, her second home.

She had been doing cheer since 6th grade. It started as something just to help her pass time, but the more she did it, the more in love she fell with it.

To top it all off she was a complete natural.

Today she wanted nothing more than to go home.

She hadn't been looking forward to the practice and definitely was not enjoying it now.

A certain someone was invading her home.

"i think we should change it up a little today" lana yelled while her cheer mates did stretching exercises.

Ray could watch everything going down from where she was standing. She needed to be practicing and leading the squad but she could hardly focus on anything. Lana was too busy shaking her ass in front of the whole football squad.

Right.....in front....of.....Tommy.

She had reached her breaking point. She already had to tolerate them in classes when they were all together.

She couldn't handle another aching second.

She had gotten to the point where she wanted to slap Lana.

"are you alright Ray Mond?" April asked the ravenette girl nudging her to bring her from her daze.

"Hmm?" Ray hummed turni to stare into her best friend's brown orbs. "Fine. yes i'm fine."

"Ummm....okay, you've just been standing there for a few minutes and the girls are waiting for orders...."

Ray nodded looking away from April and back at the group of girls, "okay let's go"

They joined the group just as they finished their stretches.

The brunette took a deep breath deciding not to let anymore Lana or Tommy things bother her.

"Get it, baby!" shouted Lana.

Technically, Ray didn't have to be by Lana's side to hear her. Only problem was Lana was the co-captain and Ray was unfortunately next to her.

She could swear she was going deaf.

The game between the Chang Gang Dragons and the Goolag Guppies was a long anticipated one.
