Ray Mond was used to being the center of attention. After all, she was born into a wealthy family and had a well known family surname which always made people look at her. Always.
She was usually the talk of the school. Always about the clothes she wore, her her hair do, or about her relationship with Tommy T. Although today was different. Ever since Lexi's party after the Chang Gang Dragons won, everyone seemed to be talking about how Tommy had cheated on her with her bestfriend Lana Valentine. Even more importantly, they were chattering about how Ray had also cheated on Tommy with the guy who made the entire school shiver with just the mentione of his name, Randy Bullet.
Ray let out a very long sigh and plastered the fake smile she would greet people with. She had to act as if the whole party situation hadn't affected her. Truthfully though, Ray had spent all weekend long crying over the man she though was the love of her life and the friendship of a girl she saw as her sister. Two people who she had now lost.
The pain coursing through her body was real, and it would hurt even more when she was reminded of those damn words. I have been having sex with Tommy Tate for the past four months and counting now. Ray bit her lip and clenched her fists trying to push back the memory. She sucked in a long deep breath to prevent the memory from breaking her.
"Are you alright Miss Ray?" mumbled Max, the man Ray's father hired to be his daughters personal driver.
The brunette was sitting in the back of the family car. The one she used to get to school everyday. She didn't dare to step out, the nerves were eating her alive. She didn't want to think about all the looks she would earn.
She came to realize that not only did she have to worry about what the school thought about home, but also about what Randy would have to say.
What if he had beat me to school and already heard the rumor? What if he had already denied any type of relationship with me? What if the moment I walked in, the whole school would laugh at me?
Ray prayed none of that had happened. Not only would that make her look like the girl who got cheated but also like a great liar and a big clown. The thunderous roar of a motorcycle caught her attention as it entered the schools parking lot.
Randy Bullet was well known for driving a slick black Harley Davidson. The bike everyone knew not to touch unless they wanted to be a dead man, or woman.
Rumor had it there was this boy who threw his empty can too close to the bike and accidentally splashed soda making the seat dirty and sticky. Not a single soul heard about that boy, ever again.
Even though it didn't know it wasn't sure if the boy who vanished existed, there were all kinds of rumors regarding Randy. No one could tell exactly if they were true or false. Weeks ago it was rumored he had tattoos done while in prison.
The white haired boy ruffled his hair after he took off the black motorcycle helmet. The boy was one of the most dangerous it at the same time the most attractive. He made everyone around him stare.
Every person attracted to boys was interested in him. Though none had the guts to speak to him unless he spoke to them first and that rarely happened. Randy picked his pocket pulling out a pack of cigarettes he has. He lit one and brought it to his mouth still having everyone's attention on him. Ray supposed the boy was used to the attention on him, although this morning it was more than usual.
