Faking It

Nine

This long awaited chapter goes out to my family over in Rollercoaster, enjoy you guys :)

Ray's eyes fluttered open landing on the first thing in front of her.

Randy.

His eyes were closed, still asleep. Ray took the opportunity to analyze his figure. He was relaxed as he slept, probably having a nice dream. She made sure not to move as to not disturb his peace.

There was no doubt that Randy was an incredibly handsome man.

His skin was tan, his hair was jostled from sleeping, he looked like an angel. She couldn't take her eyes off him now. Randy's arm was still securely wrapped around her waist, his breath fanning her face.

The digital clock on the nightstand flashed six forty five in the morning. Breakfast, was the first thing to cross Rays mind to show her gratitude and appreciation towards the man for letting her stay the night.  It was the perfect idea, but truth be told, she didn't want to leave his arms.

She inched closer to the taller man, closing her eyes as she hid her face in his neck. She carefully mapped out her next couple of moves. She'd lay here with Randy 10 more minutes to savor this weird, unknown feeling, shower, and then breakfast.

10 a.m. was the time Ray Mond opened her eyes again. That and Randy Bullet was no longer in bed with her.

Did I fall asleep?

It couldn't have been. She closed her eyes for 10 minutes. 10 long, long minutes.

Fuck! I fell asleep!

The brunette was quick to throw the blanket and make her way out the room. She found Randy standing by the stove as she came into the kitchen. Half naked. He wore black jeans and a black apron sculpted his muscular body. The man was busy making waffles shirtless. She'd be lying if she said she wasn't drooling at the sight.

Randy took notice of the brunette, smiling at her over his shoulder.

"Did you sleep well sleeping beauty?"

Did he usually cook half naked?

Ray wouldn't mind coming over to his apartment more often if that was the case.

"Y-yes" she stuttered. Randy was making her hot.

"Good..." the male returned his attention to the waffles.

"How long have you been up for?" Her curiosity got the best of her.

"Not to long honestly, you fell asleep after staring at me for about 15, 20 minutes. Then I took a trip to go buy some groceries." His tone was calm.

Wait a second...

"I did not stare..."

Idiot! He was awake the whole time?!

Ray needed the earth to swallow her whole. She couldn't let Randy see how flushed she was.

"Relax, I'm used to being looked at." There was another smile from him before he changed topics, "hungry? I made some bomb waffles"
