Hello! Long time no see😅.
Aaron's POV:
Grace and I were stuck in a dip pose, kinda like in tango. My palms were pressed to her back as I prevented her from hitting the crystal white tiles. Her hand clenched tight to my jacket.
Her eyes bore deep into mine, I was flabbergasted at the varied emotions that twirled in them. I could understand her confusion since everything happened in split seconds but the anger swirling in her eyes was beyond me.
"Wow, nice pose." An unfamiliar voice pulled us out of our trance-like state. My eyes met the amused ones of this unfamiliar girl who was excitedly munching on her popcorn.
"That moment truly deserves an award from Zee-world. From the way you caught her to how both of you were lovingly gazing at each other, bravo!" She amusingly wiped away fake tears and clapped her hands.
"It was fun but like most zee-world movies, this cute moment is a bit too long. I mean just think about the better things you could be doing right now." That was a wake-up call for Grace. Before I could utter a word, she sprung far away from me like a stretched-out coil.
"Stop. Touching. Me." She stressed out her words through clenched teeth.
"Do you have a problem or something? Where you can't keep your hands to yourself?" She lashed out.
"Hold on! I'm at fault? For what exactly? Saving you from breaking your neck?" She opened her mouth to speak but I quickly cut her off.
"Where on earth is my thank you, Aaron, you just saved my life because I just saved your life." Seriously, was I the only one who was taught the 5 magic words when I was little, or does she just not remember the thank you part?
"You ran into me. The least you could do was salvage the situation and here you are shamelessly asking for a thank you, no sir." She rested her hands on her waist most of the time but often used them to gesticulate her points. Rude as she was, it was fun to watch.
"And when you were done sorting out the accident, you should have just left me alone but nope, you just couldn't do that." The unfamiliar girl was laughing again as if we were acting out a live comedy show.
"Well, I vividly remember you clinging on to me and staring at me like I was the best thing that happened to you, barely a few minutes ago." I almost started laughing because of how embarrassed she looked.
"I did not! You must be delusional, none of those things you said even happened."
"I'm not delusional. Don't try to make me look crazy in the presence of this pretty lady." She rolled her eyes while her friend giggled at the compliment.
"This pretty lady is called Beauty, it's nice to finally meet you. I've heard a lot about you."
Finally? There are only two people who could have told her about me. Idara or Grace, and I'm sure the latter has nothing good to say.
"Good things, I hope?" Her lips widened as she smiled brightly.
"Oh you are fine. I don't let others decide what I think of someone. And from what I'm seeing, you might not be so bad after all."
From the corner of my eye, I saw Grace glaring at her and I chuckled.
"I guess it depends on how much you trust the said person's judgement." The smile on Beauty's lips dimmed as Grace gave her a pointed look.
Ah ah! Shey, it's by force for someone to believe everything you say.
"Grace, let her have her own impression of me. I know you won't have anything good to say. I don't even know what I did to you." She redirected her icy glare at me, I could just feel them willing me to become ice.
