Luke Morrow didn't want to leave her head.

And she was ashamed of it, as she stood in front of the pharmacy desk "what do you mean- I can't wait that long for insulin!" Cass scoffed, the lady in front of her rolling her eyes "I'm sorry ma'am, 4 weeks, minimum." she heard a familiar voice push through the people behind her.

She looked behind her, seeing Carl come up "Carl- stay back in the line-" "What seems to be the problem?" he asked, gripping his uniform, as he put on a smile. "No problem, I was just explaining to the lady that her Insurance will only deliver her insulin to her in 4 weeks minimum, if she can't pay upfront." Carl sighed, pulling out his wallet.

"No Carl!" "How much?" "500€" "here you go" He handed the cash over, ignoring Cass's request. She groaned as everything got done.

Grumbling she followed carl out of the pharmacy, "Carl- I can't pay you this back-" "I know." "Why?" She asked as they stood face to face.

She sees his eyes scanning her wanting to grip on this moment as long as he could. "Because you're my twin Cassandra. And we grew up with you acting like a mother to all of us. Even though you're the youngest girl, so accept it, please." Cass sighed, pressing a kiss to her brother's cheek as she took the bag. "I will solve this, alright?" He smiled at her. The two began to walk.

Because Cassandra was sure of it. She had the perfect plan. And all she needed was Frankie.

When cass knocked on the door of Frankie her smile quickly disappeared when she saw the one person she was desperately trying to avoid. "Luke." "Cassandra." "you don't get to call me that." she pushes past him, "alright, welcome to my house-" "you didn't tell me you live with this asshole-" Cass exclaimed and was cut off by Frankie who said "He's my roommate alright? I can't do anything against it, calm down. What you here for?" he asked her and she took a deep breath.

"It's uh- it's going to sound a little crazy-" "I'm ready." "I was wondering...I was hoping that you'd might marry me." Frankie burst out laughing, making Cass's face fall "I'm serious" "are you okay?" he asked laughing "not exactly. Uh.." his smile faded and he listened to her.

"I found out six months ago I had diabetes... Type one and uh... Get this... The insurance I have doesn't actually cover the insulin that I need to like live. So I can either pay off my debt or pay my rent but I just can't do both." "I'm so sorry.." "and I'm like there's gotta be a way, right? Turns out, there is" she pulled out her phone. "Your friend gave me the idea when you guys came to the bar." she showed him her phone "Marine spouses get full health benefits, and we get extra pay just for being married, like basic housing allowance, and separation pay which adds up to be pretty decent and we could split it and everybody wins, what do you think?" she pulls her red lips up into a smile.

"I'm sorry, my dads a retired mp" "excuse me, private discussion" cass said, looking at luke. "Mp is military police," Frankie said, "Frankie, this is a common scam, if they kick the tires on this thing and they find out it's not real its fraud. Come on man, you're better than this" cass interrupted "okay, no one asked you so could you not? And why wouldn't this be a real marriage?" cass asked "I don't know because, you're not in love-" "we respect each other, we're not in love but we love each other. We'd just be able to sleep with other people which basically sounds like the fakest marriage ever." "you'd be ripping off the government," Luke said and Cass laughed, if he knew.
