It was an early Saturday morning and our favourite couple made their way down the quiet little street of cherry treetop lane where Minerva's brother lived with his wife and two children. They had agreed to meet at eight o'clock at their home ready for Patricia to take everybody shopping. The sun was shining brightly in the sky, little birds flew by singing their song.
"Such a lovely day, we could do so much in the sun, like a picnic or go to the sea but no here we are on our way to tortureville." Bellatrix crosses her arms like a small pouting child. Minerva couldn't help but chuckle at her lover.
"You really are such a drama Queen."
"Please, I can't think of anything worse than shopping, I'd rather be chained to a wall and have daggers dragged across my skin as I slowly bleed out."
"I'll bear that in mind next time. I'll have to add daggers and chains to my shopping list." Minerva reaches for some paper in her little handbag that matched her red short sleeved red 1950's swing dress. Bellatrix growled quickly using the opportunity of the small alleyway they had come to and pushed Minerva down there, covering her mouth with her hand. Minerva's eyes widen in shock as she now felt the cold stone wall of the old terraced house against her back. The gap between the two houses blocked out most of the sunlight, casting shadows over them.
"I wouldn't tease me like that love, don't forget I've learned your little secret and I certainly wouldn't hesitate to use it against you." Bella leaned into her lover, pushing their bodies flush against each other, her hand still remained pressed against Minerva's mouth.
Bellatrix closed her eyes as she took a deep breath and inhaled the other woman's fragrance.
"Merlin you smell so good." Her voice had dropped to a husky growl and Minerva's legs quivered, threatening to collapse at any minute. Minerva mumbled something inaudible against Bella's hand, and finally the woman lifted her hand, allowing Minerva to speak. The woman parted her lips trying to gather her breath to speak but whistling caught their attention. Minerva cleared her throat and straightened her dress, shifting away from Bellatrix as a man and his dog walked by.
Minerva glanced at her petite golden watch that had a roaring lion in the centre of the watch face.
"We had better get a move on, we've got 5 minutes."

Patricia gathered the children and told them to wait by the door whilst she grabbed her bag, she yelled up the staircase for Malcolm to hurry up before making her way to the kitchen where her handbag lay waiting on the kitchen table along with the car keys. The woman quickly grabbed both before making her way back into the living room.
"Why are you rushing?"
"Because your sister will be here any minute on time as per usual and I don't want her to be waiting for us like she normally does."
"Honey we have two kids and ourselves to get ready, besides she doesn't mind." He placed his hands on his wife's shoulders to stop her fussing. As if on cue the door knocked and the two children screamed as they ran to open the door.
"See now she's here and they haven't even got their shoes on!" The woman sighed but Malcolm pulled his wife into a big hug before she had chance to escape his grasp.
"You do know it's Minerva and Bellatrix right? Not your mother?"
"Patricia as much as I love you, I don't particularly care for being compared to your mother." Both heads turned to see Bellatrix stood in the living room doorway with Marcia on her hips.
Malcolm couldn't keep a straight face at the woman in the door way.
"What are you laughing at you cockwomble?"
"Bellatrix the children!" Minerva scorns coming to stand beside her, covering little Elizabeth's ears.
Patricia couldn't hide her smile as she rested her head against her husbands chest.

Getting in the car was another thing entirely, Patricia had a more practical car for her family with pop out seats in the boot for occasions like this where she'd have to try and get 6 people into the car. The car was a deep blue 1986 Austin Montego Mayfair. Bellatrix had to give the metal contraption a good inspection before allowing Minerva to get inside.
"Bellatrix it's a car now get in, we've been over this. It's perfectly safe." Minerva clicked the seatbelt in its place. Everyone was in the car apart from Bella who stood outside inspecting the car door. Minerva had sat in the back seat whilst the two children were strapped up in the pop up seats in the boot.
"That's a window handle." Patricia smiles, noticing the woman starring at it.
"It opens the window to let the air in as you drive." The woman adds with a smile, clicking her own seatbelt in. Bellatrix was just about to get in as Malcolm started up the engine. The woman's eyes widen as she drew her wand prepared to blast the thing
"No!" Minerva summons the other witches wand.
"It's just Malcolm starting the engine, it does that. It's just Like in those movies you watch with the girls."
"That's Different, people I care for are not in those contraptions. We're all in this one!" Bella frowns as she once again hesitantly gets inside. Minerva couldn't hide her smile and amusement.
"Aw we love you too" Malcolm turns around in his chair to see an agitated Bella flipping him off. A Swift smack to the arm caused the woman to frown even more.
"Bellatrix, the children!" Minerva scolds.
"Honestly if I didn't know better, I'd say you pair are brother and sister the way you behave towards each other." Patricia said referring to both Bellatrix and her husband.
"They're unbelievable aren't they?" Minerva shakes her head.
Patricia chuckles,
"Well I mean she practically is, known the loony nearly all my life. Growing up she'd be in Minerva's corner both of them fighting my battles." The man smiles fondly. It was true of course, though Bellatrix wasn't related by blood, she'd always been apart of his life.
"You were a bit of a push over as a child, lucky you had two strong women to protect your sorry arse." Bella comments, pulling the door shut. Minerva huffs, swatting Bella's arm due to her use of language.
"Carful, I'd like to keep the car intact." The man turns to look at the witch.
"Should of thought about that before you made me get in the tin shed on wheels." Malcolm was about to respond but Minerva beat him to it.
"No no, she has a point there, you were the one who insisted we take the car, knowing Bellatrix was coming with us."
"Exactly." Bella folds her arms. Patricia did her best to keep a straight face as the little argument escalated, which resulted in her husband banging his head against the steering wheel, and Minerva trying to strap Bellatrix in.

"For Melins sake Bellatrix, it's a seatbelt, it's to keep you safe." Minerva said, leaning over and trying to get the safety strap.
"I can keep myself safe thank you very much." Bellatrix however had other plans and stubbornly pushed Minerva's hands away, covering the seatbelt.
"Bella, it's a safety measurement for the vehicle, stop acting like a child and let me clip it in." Minerva tugged on her own seatbelt for more leanway to try and get Bella's.
"It's imprisonment, you're actually trying to tie me down." Bellatrix at this point had pushed herself up against the car door, trying to avoid Minerva's grasp at all costs.
"No, I'm trying to ensure your safety, now get your hand out of the way." The woman slapped the other witches hand away as she tried to pull the belt away from Minerva.

"Don't make me get out of this car and walk around to your side, because I'm telling you now, if I have to do that I will hex you." Minerva warned.
"Do you hear that, she's threatening me, and trying to tie me up. She'll be dissembling my corpse next." Bellatrix said, avoiding Minerva's stern gaze.
"At this rate that would be the easier option, now sit down and give me the damn seatbelt." Minerva wasn't messing, she used her stern professor voice.

The car ride to the shopping centre was filled with civil conversation, not from Bellatrix of course, she sat silently pouting with her arms folded, safely strapped in with the seatbelt.
Upon arrival, Bella's frown grew deeper as they pulled up outside a large building that appeared to be filled with people and their tin shed with wheels.
"This isn't the one we normally go to."
"No this is a much bigger one Bella." Minerva smiles, unbuckling herself before leaning over to unbuckle Bellatrix who instantly got out of the car. Minerva chuckles, shaking her head as she collects her little hand bag. Malcolm got out of the car not long after, and gathered his girls from the back before closing the boot.
"I don't know who has their hands full more, me with Malcolm and the girls, or you with Bellatrix." Patricia laughs, turning in her seat to face Minerva.
"She certainly is a challenge." Minerva smiles as the devil herself came and opened the woman's door.
"My lady." Bellatrix smiles, holding her hand out to Minerva.
"Ever the gentleman." Minerva smirks, taking the witches hand and getting out of the car.
"Gentlewoman, Minerva." Bella corrects, before leaning in and whispering in Minerva's ear
"As you well know, though I do have a rather wicked side. Particularly when it involves you and certain activities." Minerva nudges the woman in the side before turning her head to face the mischievous witch.
"You had better behave yourself today." Minerva warned, the woman merely smirked.
"Don't I always."
