Strange Love

Chapter 2

Rose went to her flat and found Mae laying down on the couch eating pizza with the dog sleeping beside her.

"What took you so long!" Mae asked with her concerned face.

"Don't worry, it was even a miracle when we met!" Rose said with a big smile.

"Why? You met your crush again?"

"Well, I'm not sure if I met him or not, because his face is really familiar!"

"How does he look?"

"Let me tell you that after I make lunch, dude I'm starving." Rose said as she headed to the kitchen and made lunch good for two.

While Rose was cooking, Mae sat on the dinning table.

"Man, I'm lucly I have this weirdo as my best friend. She cooks everything." Mae said on a loud voice to make sure Rose heard that.

"Yeah, I'm lucky I have this guy behind me too look for my pup when I'm away..." She did same thing as Mae.

They both laughed and Belle, the dog got her food bowl on her mouth and went to Rose.

"Bud, please give the pup her lunch." Rose said.

"Yeah sure." Mae said, doing what Rose asked her to do.

After feeding Belle, Mae then asked her what he looked like for the second time. Rose sat and gave Mae's lunch as they ate together.

"Well, he's handsome."

"I said what he looked like." Mae said.

"He has slightly brownish hair, blue eyes, tall, and has good manners."

Mae was shocked and said "Isn't that Dennovan? Your elementary crush?"

"Oh yeah, no wonder he look familiar... Wait. But I met him in person!!!" Rose said with an exciting voice.

Mae face palmed. "I knew this could happen."

"What do you mean?"

"You'll just get hurt buddy... Ugh! This is all Den's fault!" Mae said.

"Please don't blame him, blame me instead. I promise this will be settled Mae."

"Why do you think so?" Mae said as she raised her right brow.

"He said he wanted to see me again..." Rose said facing down, blushing.

"Here we go again." Mae said slowly.

"Pshhh. Grow up buddy!" Rose said slowly patting her shoulders and wink.

"Fine, I'll give you a chance. After he'll come here and ask permission from me." She said with her 'strong' voice.

"Piece of cake."

"You know that he would do that if he truly likes you right?" Mae said with a concerned voice.

Rose just shrugged and said "You better start eating before Belle ate your lunch."

"Hm, yeah..."

"Hey." Mae said.

"What is it?"

"I dreamt about me, Katherine, and you on a kpop concert. Both me and Kath were fangirling. Guess what you did."

"Standing beside you, with a grumpy face and regrets going with you on a concert."

"Exactly! How did you know?"

"I would do same exact thing if you bring me to a kpop concert."

"Ha!"

"Hey, let's talk about him... You know!" Rose said.

"Ugh! Why do you like him so much? He did a magic spell to you or what?"

"Stop that. I think he's loyal and all the good things."

"I suggest pairing you with the fat guy in elementary, remember?"

"Ugh! You're gross Mae!"

"You wash the dishes this time okay?" Mae asked.

"Fine. You're lucky I'm kind and obedient." Rose said while Mae made a fake cough twice.

Mae then went to same workshop as Rose. They share their workshop since both are artists. She then started painting. While Rose was back in the flat washing the dishes.

'Lazy butt' Rose though before Mae walked outside the flat.

Few hours later, Mae came back and found Rose in bed snoring. While Belle tried to cath her tail.

'That funny fat pup though...' Mae thought before carrying the pup and went upstairs.

"Look who's pretty tired and lazy." Mae jokingly said. Rose woke up and asked "Did you make any progress or what?"

"Meh, it's same."

"What do you mean 'same'?"

"It's still same, you know. Cool and awesome artworks by me." Mae said.

"Now I'm going to be a love teaher and all those stuff. Again." Mae added.

"You don't even have a real crush." Rose teased Mae.

"What do you think of Kaneki? You know, the awesome dude in that anime?"

"Anime is fictional."

"Well yeah! What about kpop?"

"Yeah but you won't meet them..."

"You too did not expect to meet Den right? So maybe same thing will happen to me, meeting the kpop groups and have their autograph..."

"I would be happy for you to get a chance to meet them, but not that happy if you bring me to their concert, my eardrums would burst."

Mae sat on the bed beside Rose while Belle is still busy catching her tail.

"I remember when were in elementary..." Mae said

"Remember what? There's lot of things to remember in elementary."

"When you're so funny being obsessed with Den?" Mae smiled.

"Yeah, where did met anyways?"
