1:30 pm. Thursday, 3rd of February 2022.
"Nathan Anderson?" Asked a teacher at the opposite side of the room I was sitting in, it was Thursday detention, and 4 other people were in a bright, brick room, "Here, Mx." I answered while raising my hand for a second,
"Ruby Brown?" The teacher asks, looking up slightly.
"Hi." A girl said dully. It was by blond hair, brown eyes, tall and fit and her skin was neither tan nor pale.
"Melissa Pullen." The teacher called.
"Here, Mx," Melissa answered brightly. I looked up from my computer and properly looked at her. She looked gorgeous, she had brunette hair, blue eyes, tanned skin, and was of medium height and stature. She looked around and saw me staring, I felt my cheeks and the rest of my face go hot and looked down.
"Jordan Smith?" The teacher asked.
"Here." Said a deep voice in another corner of the room, it was from a small boy with black hair, blue eyes, and pale and short and chubby stature, he had round, black thick-framed glasses on.
"And finally James Williams." Said the teacher, sighing.
"Here." Exclaimed a deeper voice opposite to me. He was a very tall, fit, red-haired, and brown-eyed guy. There was a long moment before the teacher spoke.
"Righteo, today you will have to pick up rubbish in the school during this break. I know I am not supposed to do this, 'cause I am meant to be disciplining you, but whoever has the most rubbish will get lollies, now off all of you." Explained the teacher. People smiled at the mention of free lollies, "You can leave your books here for the time being."
Everyone got up and walked out the door, stopping, I followed close behind.
"I am going to get the most," Jordan exclaimed. Everyone laughed. "Anyways, how's everyone? How did you guys get detention? I got caught on my phone."
"Good. Late somehow," I stated shortly, we walked down the stairs, picking up rubbish as we went.
"How? Class starts at 10?" James asked jokingly, "I mean just got caught vaping, so fun, my parents will be mad but who cares."
"Oh yeah, I never tried vaping. I didn't do any Homework." Melissa answered.
"Same, my parents would kill me. I turned up in the wrong uniform." Ruby answered.
There was silence for a few more minutes, this time the silence was warm and comforting. We continued picking up rubbish until the bell rang, simultaneously talking amongst ourselves about the subjects we'd each chosen and what our general life was like. We quickly exchanged phone numbers after we were dismissed by the teacher to let us go to class.
