"Its been quite an ordeal trying to raise three babies all by oneself well trying to avoid hunters who wouldn't want anything more than to see me dead but I'm afraid that they'll have to wait, because I've made a promise to these little one's parents and I intend to keep my promise. Of course, I've made sure to keep the journal that once belonged to their father and has since been writing in his journal"

16 years later

A young girl wakes up in her shared room with her twin brother, they have recently turned sixteen and live with their grandparents who are hunters, "It has been sixteen long years since my brother and I were close to death, if it wasn't for the kindness of our Grandparents who found us being held captive by a demon," the twins were told that the demon had killed their parents and tried to hold them, hostage and if it wasn't for their grandparents who saved them and raised them as their own children rather than being just there grandchildren, they taught them how to use "specific" weapons that they were compatible with to kill demons. Although they were tough at first trying to get them used to it, it was the hardest time of their lives training and probably the most important thing in their life, the only thing that they hated was getting up at ridiculous hours and somehow managing to shower and get ready so they could go to school on time, it wasn't just an average school, it was one designed to train the next generation of hunters.

The twins were grateful to their grandparents that were still alive, but everything comes at a cost. During one of their training exercises the sister had miscalculated trying to summon her familiar, when her brother walked in to the room to see how her work was coming along, when she looked up to answer her brother the summoning rock that she had laying on a small pedestal on her desk exploded sending black smoke and Rock debris flying fast enough to severely damaged someone, unfortunately for the young twin she was close enough to the blast where the rock debris caught her in the face hitting her eyes causing her to lose almost all visibility and scarring the tissue around her eyes. Her twin brother was by her side the instant she hit the floor bleeding from her wound's unconscious from the pain, trying to stop the bleeding, he didn't notice the black smoke that had burst from the rock had formed a humanoid shape and was beginning to take solid form.

12:15 p.m.
"Hey sis you need to wake up were going to be late for our graduation and you know how cruel that old lady can get if we're late, come on Roxy wake up — Roxy this is not the best time to try and get a little more sleep!!" Her brother yelled well throwing her top blanket off the bed only to find another blanket in its place. "Today is the day we get our weapons so hurry." Her brother said grabbing the blanket and what else under it and throwing it in the same place as the last blanket well trying to get his sister out of bed.
"Rex — please we have like five more hours" She replied Pulling her pillow over her head trying to block the sunlight from hitting her face. "No Roxy we have maybe five minutes left before the old lady starts the graduation with or without us," Rex said grabbing a hold of her pillow and yanked it out of her hold before tossing it on the pile with her other blankets on the floor. "What why didn't you just say that — god Rex you have horrible timing, you should have said that sooner now we're going to be late for graduation come on." she said jumping out of the bed grabbing her shoes and started to put them on when her brother said "Roxy before we go can you please put on some clothing on first." To which she stopped doing what she was and replied: "Oh right ok just give me like a minute to get ready." With that Rex left the room to wait outside the door for her so she could get dressed.

Several Minutes later

Roxy/Rex

As the two rushed to get to the courtyard to try and make it to their graduation "Ok so I took a little too long, but we should still be on time." Roxy told her brother well holding on to his arm as they race down the hallway from their room.

"To be fair if I didn't wake you up then we both know there's a strong chance that that old hag will probably get on our ass's again." He replied leading his sister to their destination, as they passed several doors and went down two flights of stairs with Roxy almost falling down the last one. After finally making their way to the courtyard out back Rex lead his sister to the back of the courtyard where the stage was set for graduation.

"So, what you're telling me is we're to just stand here and wait for them to show up when we had to rush over here," Roxy said tightening her grip on her brother as they wait for their grandparents and school administration to show up.

"Yes" was Rex's only reply well they wait until them to get here.

"Okay, Rex be honest with me, what do you think is going to happen during the graduation?" She said squeezing her brother's forearm, trying to stay calm and collected around the other graduates. Rex looked to his sister and calmly told her, "I really don't know, but I do know that if you had been paying attention to our class representative when she was explaining what our graduation was going to be or the fact that our weapons pick their hunter and won't choose to work with another even if it's hunter is killed or is critically injured past the point where their hunter is no longer able to fight." Rex looks around the courtyard eyeing some of the other students that have managed to make it and will be graduating with them a total of fifteen other students besides the twins.

"Ok, so that means that we definitely don't have a choice of what we get and that it all depends on the weapon." She said as her brother pulls out one of the matching masks that cover the top half of the face to match Roxy's silver mask with faint lines of onyx tint that made up a small pattern of a bluebird. "Yup it all depends on who the weapons want to work with." He said putting on the matching mask, minus the bird pattern, so his twin wouldn't be the only one that stands out since she's forced to wear one after the accident and was one of few ways to hide the damages from it.

Grandparents

"They are really cutting it very close my dear," Said a lady who looks as if time wasn't as kind to her as it's has been to her husband. "I'm aware of that. They should be here any minute now and besides, the real question is whether or not we prepared them well enough for this." Replied her husband as he watched the twins entire the courtyard making their way to where the stage is set up.

"What do you mean?" His wife responded hitting him on the shoulder as she walked by his head to the door.

"What I mean is it is bad enough that their parents are gone thanks to us for undertraining them." He said following his wife out of their office making their way down the hallway that leads to their own staircase.

"No, it wants our fault, it was our own daughter's husband fault for deciding to try and hunt down that stupid demon that killed his parents, our friends and let's not forget that they were lucky enough to have had kids especially twins considering the circumstances surrounding their birth." She practically growled out through her clenched teeth as they made their way down the stairs and out of a secret door hidden behind the thick brush, which leads to the back courtyard.

"Yes, you are absolutely right on that note but back to the point, do you really think that they can handle themselves when their weapons pick them." The husband said taking his wife's arm and walking to the side of the stage, "Of course they're up to it we have been training them since we found them and brought them back with us even when Roxy had that accident that left her all blind we still trained the both of them so it's without a doubt that the two of them together are strong enough to possibly take the both of us on." His wife replies as they reach the steps leading up to the stage, "Still even when they are apart, they are strong but it's only a matter of time before they find out about what happened to their parents so what better way than at the ceremony." She added releasing her hold on her husband's arm and climbed the steps onto the stage, followed by her husband whose only reply was "shall we?" To which she answered with "Yes, let's".
