"Finally, after a long and I mean a very long day of having to take care of these children would definitely leave me with white hair if I was still human, but I digress since I have long forgotten those days. As much as I would love to reminisce about the past, I promised I would only write the important things in this journal seeing as it's the only thing that has the names of the children and their parents in it and causes, I'm too tired to go and retrieve another book to write in. If I had known that raising humans would be this difficult I wouldn't have taken them, but as I've mentioned in my previous writings I had promised my old friend that I would do everything in my power to make sure that his offspring would survive and to see that they would live normal lives, of course, all within the safety I can provide."

Rex

It's only been a whole night since Roxy has disappeared and Rex has done nothing but practically destroyed the room that he and Roxy shared, He's broken anything that was of value that belonged to him and left anything that was left behind and belongs to Roxy alone and in their proper place for when she returns, of course, Rex had checked the estate more than enough to find any clues to where she better half went. Rex ignore the other Hunters every time they would try to make small talk or even just started a full-blown conversation even when they knew that Rex wasn't going to pay attention to them, he would even ignore the old hag and her husband when they tried to get his attention. It wasn't because he didn't care about what they would say on the controversy he knew that they just wanted to help him, but they also knew that he was a very stubborn young man, and when he sets his mind to it, he could achieve so much more than he could when he's alone.

As Rex looked some more around the estate grounds this time with help from some of the faculty members and some of the staff that tends to the estate that he and Roxy have called home for the past fourteen years, even though Rex knew that he probably wouldn't find is twin today he knew deep in his heart that she was still alive and he wouldn't give up looking for her even if it meant that he would do some stupid things to find her. "Roxy where could you have gone to, I know that there's no way you could have just left without saying anything so where could you have gone off to," Rex said out loud as he searched in the forest around the estate with the others that agreed to help him look for the young huntress, the staff that tends to the estate more so than the faculty that just teach the next generation of hunter and huntress, "Sir, I'm afraid to be the bearer of bad news but we've searched all of the estates grounds and have practically done a thorough search of the entire house and unfortunately we were unable to find the young lady," said one of the estate workers who walked up to Rex to inform him of the situation well also being cautious of Rex for fear of setting the young man into a fit of anger.

After hours of searching for Roxy and almost beating one of the estate workers to the point where the other workers had to grab a stronghold of Rex in order to keep him from practically beating the unfortunate worker to near-death when the young worker told Rex the truth not to mention that the young worker also grew up with both of the twins, of course, Rex did more then throw punches at his friend he practically cursed the young man out and threatened him with more than wanting to kill him, of course his friend knew that Rex didn't really mean what he said and was very sympathetic to the fact that out of both the twins he knew that Rex's was the hot head of the two since he always protected Roxy, well Roxy was the cool-headed twin who kept Rex in check whenever he would get too brazen or would lose control to his anger. "Rex, you know as well as I do that I'm also concerned for Roxy, in fact, how would she react if she saw you like this taking your anger out on the help," the boy said as message his jaw which he was sure without a doubt would be bruised from having just taken the punches that Rex thrown at him, "Oliver, don't call yourself the help please if Roxy was here she'd beat the both of us, and I'm sorry about the bruises that no doubt will show on that pretty mug of yours," Rex said as he made his way to sit next to Oliver on a bench who was taking a bag of frozen peas from another worker who rushed into the house the second the small beat down started, "couldn't you have at least gone easy on me when your throwing punches," Oliver said as he kept the frozen peas held against his jaw and cheek to keep the swelling down.

Once everyone who was helping search for Roxy went inside the only people that were still outside were Rex and Oliver since the night was already approaching and they had both spent the whole day looking for Roxy, "Oliver, I'm worried what if something bad actually happened to Roxy" Rex said as he leaned back on the bench looking up to the darkening sky hoping that where ever Roxy is that she was somewhere safe and warm and not somewhere dead in a ditch all alone, "Rex try to have faith and think positive, it's only been a day since she disappeared and I'm not going to let you think of all the negative things that could happen," Oliver said as he joined Rex leaning back against the bench and looking up at the darkening sky the frozen peas long since abandoned having thawed out hours ago, "And besides Rex, you and I both know that if anyone did take Roxy of the estate ground they'd have one hell of a fight on their hands since she's always been one tough girl despite losing her sight" Oliver added as he lean against Rex's shoulder well they both looked up at the now night sky trying to point out constellations to each other before they retired for the night to start up their search again tomorrow except for this time it would be outside the estate property with other hunters that volunteer to look for Roxy since some of the older hunters where fond of the young hunters.

The following Morning

"Remember Oliver you are to stay by my side unless you want to get killed by a wolf or demon that could be out here," Rex said making sure that Oliver was with him well they searched outside the property and protection that the estate provided to both Rex and Oliver, "Don't worry Rex I've always got yours and Roxy's back and besides if we run into any danger I know you'll save me," Oliver replied to Rex as they walked around searching for Roxy on the second that she's been missing from the estate. Of course, Rex brought up the topic to his grandparents to expand the search for Roxy, in fact, Rex even thought that they would at least be concerned for their missing Granddaughter but instead, they told him that she'll come back eventually and that there was no need for them to worry. It felt as if it was only Rex who was truly concerned for his beloved sister's wellbeing and even though he knew Oliver cared enough to help him look for her, Rex felt as if Oliver did it out of pity leaving Rex to wondering why Oliver bothered to help, seeing as Oliver didn't even have any surviving family members and was an only child.

"Oliver do you see anything over there," Rex asked well he checked inside bushes and anything that looked like it could fit a person who was about 5'6 and could probably hold the weight of 125 pounds, "Sorry Rex there seems to be no sign of anything having been here recently, maybe she went further than five miles from the estate," Oliver responded as he also checked bushes and any place that Roxy could have gotten stuck or trapped by, of course, Oliver knew that Roxy was very capable of taking care of herself seeing as she had undergone the same amount of training as Rex plus she had her trusty walking cane that when struct with was excruciatingly painful since it was one whole piece that retracted into a 12 inch long rod. Both the boys would be outside with some of the older and more experience Hunters that agreed to help look for Roxy, they would spend the remainder of the day outside until the sun started to go down, at one point when they were making their way back on to the estate ground one of the other estate workers met them at the front gate, "Rex, the Lady of the house would like for you to meet her in her office," the person side and then left after delivering that message. "Well, Rex I'll see if there's anything else that I can do well you are with your Grandmother," Oliver said as he started to head to the mansion to make Rex some lunch and a snack for himself, "Hey Oliver thanks again for always sticking by both me and Roxy," Rex said as he and Oliver made their way to the mansion and heading separate ways.

Once Rex made his way to that reached woman's office he knocked on the door only once before he heard the old hag told him to enter the room and to shut the door behind him, "You wanted to see me, Grandmother" Rex said as he stood before the woman that put him and his sister through hell with their training, she didn't even look up at him and instead looked at important documents. "Yes, I've decide that it's time that you go on your first hunting trip, and before you ask you'll be going on your own," the woman said still not looking up from the paperwork that she looked to be busy with, "Oh Your still in here, I had assumed that you would have already left to your room to start packing" she added when she finally looked up at him, the woman in front of him had long raven hair that had streaks of silver in her hair and wore thin frame glasses that made her look older then she is, when she got up from the desk that she was sitting at she made quick work walking to a filing cabinet to either put away or retrieve more paperwork. "Grandmother what about Roxy, she has been gone for a whole day does this not even bother you the slightest," He said well he watched for her reaction and to no surprise, she didn't even acknowledge him anymore, with a tired sigh Rex looked at the old woman and then left her office and headed to his room so he could pack a few travel bags and figure out a plan to search for Roxy.
