Chapter 6

"To say that today was eventful would be a lie and as my subordinates know I really hate lies, anyways one of the little ones was first to finally roll onto their belly now I'm stuck with the daunting task of having to "babyproof" my home or so one of my maids tell me, I mean honestly how can something so small, squishy, and yet so weak harm its self-let alone get killed by the smallest thing. If only I knew how to properly raise these children or any children that is, what would my old friend think of me once he gets wind of what I'm doing?

Turns out that maid of mine might have been right about having to make my estate home babyproof seeing as one of them nearly fell down the balcony that overlooked the front door to my humble home in the forest, of course, hadn't been for her quick thinking and reaction one of the children would most definitely have cracked its head like an egg on the frying pan. I will most likely not make the same mistake twice and as I'm writing in the journal I'm going around my humble abode actively seeking out anything that might be of harm to the children and having my maids going out and get what is needed to babyproof my home, after that scare I've made sure to double the maids that look after children, hopeful I can have my home properly babyproof."

It's been three days since Roxy vanished from the Estate and one day since Rex was locked in his room packing for his first hunting trip making sure that he has everything he needs to look for his sister, of course, Oliver would come up to Rex's room to deliver his meals and occasionally would stay and give Rex any information that other estate workers would gossip about and Rex was always thankful for Oliver. Thanks to the constant gossip and rumors that circulate around the estate grounds and lately a new rumor had recently reached the ears of one of the estate workers who happen to supply the estate and its employees, apparently two middle-ranking Hunters had sustained several severe wounds and several cracked or broken bones, when they came into contact with three demons, two of which appear to look like Incubus, and they seemed to be traveling with a young girl who most likely is being held hostage by the three of them. Unfortunately the two Hunters were unable to get a good look at the young girl to get a good description of her so they could let the other hunters know and try to find the poor young girl, but what little they both got, they both described that girl looked to in her late teens who looked to be wearing a heavy black jacket with what looks like fur trimmings around the hoody and wrists, they also saw that she wore jeans and black converse.

Of course, Rex wasn't one to believe just any rumors that circulated around the estate but he was starting to get desperate and fact that there was a girl around his age traveling with demons only full his constant fear that Roxy might be who there talking about, after hearing that Oliver had checked each of the estates workers who heard of the rumor and was able to confirm that none of the staff knew if the rumor was exactly true which slightly eased Rex. Once Rex had doubled check that he had everything and then called Oliver up to his room when Oliver finally arrived at the room he knocked on the door only once before it open and he was pulled into the room where he was pushed to the bed and had the door slam behind him at the same time, after Oliver fixed himself upright and sat on the bed he noticed that the room the twins shared was surprisingly clean of debris any broken furniture considering that he was the only estate worker who dared to get close to ether twin whenever ether one was upset or downright angry at what set them off. "Alright Rex you wanted to see me and before you even ask I've yet to find out where the two Hunters are resting as and considering that there severely hurt it's safe to assume that they are being held at one of the secret hospitals," Oliver said as he looked around the room taking in every detail he could well he waited for Rex to say something knowing that this might very well be the last time that he ever sees his best friend, "Oliver after thinking well I packed most of my things to go on my first hunting trip I have decided that when I'm done with it I'll be out there looking for Roxy and hopefully I'll be able to find her," Rex said as he grabbed his bags and placed them by his bedroom door making sure to keep his back to Oliver not wanting to look at his best friend's face knowing for a fact that this would definitely be there last night together under the Castelise Estate.
