Chapter 4
After what you can say... "months", of arguing, she finally left the room with me in there all by myself. I was cold, and needy and wanted to feel her again, even if she was just yelling. That particular warmth she carried with her everywhere is what I desperately needed... to hear her scream my name in anger, lust, sadness and extreme pleasure.
I don't mind doing all the back and forth with her, I really don't but sleeping with my brother is a no-no and I refuse to be married with a wife who will go and do what she pleases with my family and thinks there will be no consequences to it.
I am hurting, but it is not like it was the first time. Remembering the very first time which was one of the worst out of them all. It would've been one of the times I ever cried so badly over a woman that I even lost control of my emotions, so when it kept happening constantly, I became dull and tended to be apathetic towards things that I never deemed necessary. A grown woman who knows exactly what she is doing and how she's going to play the game. A grown woman all about playing with my feelings that's why I have to do what I have to do.
She's not taking her family into consideration because she is too busy having hot girl summers everywhere and I am left to take care of Leonidas.
Which takes me to the little guy.
I feel for him, due to the fact his parents don't get along or even try to, spend time with him and be what a family is supposed to be with one another but then again I would respect if he doesn't care because of the neglection he receives from his mother.
And nothing much from me either.
Leaving the study, I took a shower and went to my room to find some decent clothes to wear today. I then went back to the study and rang for Mrs. Tayyor, notifying her of tomorrow's events and told her to make sure I was prepared for it as well.
I walked out of the room and headed to the kitchen. No one was there. I shrugged my shoulders, taking out a pack of cigarettes, placing one in my mouth and lighting it on my out to the backyard. I sat on the bench and exhaled the smoke from my lungs.
I began to swing the bench with my foot, lapping the other onto it as I loosened the first few buttons on my shirt from getting choked up for too long.
Taking another puff, I closed my eyes at the slight breeze we were experiencing today which lifted my mood a bit.
"Mind if I join you, sir? And are you smoking??"
I looked to my right to see Vile standing with her arms crossed behind her back like a little kid.
"Have a seat."
I wasn't in the mood for company but I guess her being here can't hurt. I stopped the swing so she could sit and as she did, she crossed her legs, pulling her uniform down over her knees. Once she was settled I started a light swinging momentum.
"Just... not a sound."She nodded her head as she watched me light back up the cigarette again. I breathed it out slowly facing forward, careful to not blow any smoke in her face.
"Why do you smoke?"
"I thought I said I wanted peace and quiet?"
"Well... technically, you said not a sound but I didn't think you wouldn't have wanted me to talk either besides it's just one harmless question."
"It's not that you can't talk, you can do whatever you like, also... one harmless question turns into more and starts a conversation. The opposite of what I want to do right now."
She gave me an understanding but concerned expression before playing with the hem of her dress.
"You smoke?"
I asked her after three minutes of silence between us, shaking the pack in her face to take one."No thanks."
"How old are you? Twenty-three? Twenty-six?"
I scoffed."I am nineteen, sir."
My eyes widen. Nineteen??
"And you don't want to smoke?"
"I don't smoke, well.... not anymore. It's disgusting and unhealthy."
Says the girl that used to do it.
"'Cause I know kids your age like that sort of stuff so, it was shocking to hear so."
"Not everyone can plus it's not like I recommend it either. And... I'm not a kid, I am an adult sir so please address me as such."
"Mmm."
I finally reached to the cigarette butt and put it out before chucking it over the hedge.
"Aren't you supposed to be cleaning or something? And who is watching my son?""Diamond sir, one of the other maids here. I only came to see how you were doing after everything that happened today."
"Yeah... today was all sorts of messed up."
"And the arguing? I'm going to save you the trouble of asking me what I am talking about because Diamond, Leonidas and I were in his room... we overheard you two but it was kind of faint trying to make out most of the words said."
I sighed heavily. Just what I was hoping for, more people to see and witness how frigged up this relationship is.
"You can talk about it to me if you like."
"I can't.."
I must protect Annie, I can't just let others know about our lives like it's daily news."Okay. I respect your decision if you are not comfortable in confiding in me, plus I am new."
I nod my head, agreeing with her when it hit me. Why am I protecting this woman's image? Because she's my wife. I rolled my eyes, other than that. Would she have cared if it was me? Heck! Would she have even thought about how I would feel?
"Well, I must get going."
Vile said standing to her feet.
"I have to get back to Leonidas, anything else you need sir?"I hesitated between my mind and my heart. Vile's face showed uneasiness before turning to walk away.
"Wait!!"
She stopped, turning back to me. I planted both my feet firmly on the ground, patting the space next to me so she could sit down again. She carefully made her way back to the bench before plopping down without saying a word.
That's when I gave her a very detailed summary of what was going on between my wife and I.
