Zordon- I have decided to split you up into duos to make the job more manageable.
Aiyon- Let's hear it then. What're the teams?
Zordon- Merrick and Rj will attend to the northern tear. Your experience skill and fighting styles compliment each other perfectly, I have full faith that you will complete this mission with flying colours.
Rj turns to Merrick and grins as he gives him a high five, which Merrick ignores.
Rj- Zordon knows his stuff, we'll be a dynamic doggy duo! You know, cos we've both got wolf powers! Get it?
The group blankly look at Rj as he glances up for approval, but quickly glances back down.
Rj- It sounded better in my head..
Zordon- The next duo is Cole and Zayto. The cool headed-ness of Zayto matched with Cole's passion and heart is a perfect mix. You two red rangers will conquer the western tear.
Zayto- Yes Zordon.
Cole- You can count on us sir.
Zordon- Aiyon and Tommy will monitor the eastern tear. Tommy your skill and experience is complimented with Aiyon's firepower and the two of you shall have no troubles with your mission.
Tommy- Thank you Zordon.
Aiyon- Got it! We won't fail you!
The three duos get together as they realise something.
Connor&Casey- That leaves...
The two look at each other and immediately groan.
Connor- Look, mr Zordon.. Sir. I'd rather work with anyone but that pussy cat. Anyone!
Casey- For once I agree with this punk. I'd team up with anyone but him.
Zordon- Connor and Casey. Connors fire power compliments Casey's hand to hand combat ability perfectly. Potential wise this is the most capable duo. You two will just have to learn to put your differences aside.
Tommy- And that is an order.
Rj- You two better get along.
The two sigh and stand side by side as Zordon completes his briefing.
Zordon- I have tweaked your communication systems in your morphers. You will be able to communicate with anyone in the group now, rather than just your usual corresponding teammate from your own time. Now rangers, off you go. I wish you luck.
And with that all 8 rangers put their helmets on and left the cave. They made their way to the tears and began to split up.
