4. T-Lion

Cole and Zayto make their way to the western tear. Thankfully Zordon also tweaked their morphers so they can be used as tracking devices. Unfortunately however, they still had no zords and didn't want to put any pressure on the Red Lion in case they needed him later. While walking Zayto and Cole decided to de-morph in order to save energy.

Cole- So you're from outer space huh?

Zayto- Yep. Planet Rafkon, destroyed millions of years ago.

Cole- Wow, I'm sorry. You lost everyone then..

Zayto- Yeah. But I like to look on the positive side of things. I've still got Solon and Aiyon. Along with the new ranger team which are amazing. Yeah it's still sad to look back on, but as long as we can rack up the sporix and defeat the sporix beasts, things could be okay.

Cole acknowledged Zayto's knowledge as the two continued walking.

Cole- I agree. See I lost my parents as a kid. Was raised in a jungle by a bunch of monkeys.

Zayto turns to Cole and cocks an eyebrow.

Zayto- No way? For real??

Cole- Yep. Lived my entire life in the jungle before I set off to find my parents. All I had was a weird gem and a picture of them but I still stayed hopeful.

Zayto- Well did you find them?

Cole's gaze dropped and the shine in his eyes started to fade as he thought of memories.

Cole- No.. It turns out they were destroyed decades ago, when I was a kid. By none other than Master Org. I was pronounced dead too when I went missing, I even saw my own headstone. Master Org had returned after Merrick defeated him 3000 years ago and the rest of the orgs were rising.

Zayto- I'm sorry, truly.

Cole wipes a tear from his eye and gives Zayto a grin.

Cole- It's okay though. The gemstone I found turned out to be the Red Lion's animal crystal, which allowed me to become the Red Wild Force ranger after he chose me. Now we protect the animarium and defeat the orgs and maybe one day, the world will be org-free and animals will be able to roam free on the earth.

Zayto grins back at Cole as the two near their destination. The two red rangers have similar, but very different stories. However, they blend together perfectly and their personalities compliment the other greatly. They make their way up a hill and see a purple glow below. The tear is being guarded by none other but Ransik and his army.

Cole- I know him! It's Ransik!

Zayto- He's from your time?

Cole- No no, he's from the year 3000. He came back to our time and we fought with him and the Time Force rangers from the future. He turned good though, maybe this is him before he turned good..

Zayto- Cool, Cool, Coolio..

Cole looks at Zayto with a confused look on his face but brushes it aside.

Cole- Well let's get ready to take them out.

Cole gets ready to jump down but Zayto pulls him back.

Zayto- I've got a plan. Do you have a blaster?

Cole- I've got a bow and arrow if that works.

Zayto- Good enough. See that monster taking a nap next to that barrel. I have a feeling it's full of a certain explosive if you know what I'm saying. If you can hit that monster and make him knock over the barrel as a distraction. I can use my speed dino key to get down to the tear fast enough and repair it.

Cole- I have no idea what a dino key is but that sounds like a great idea! Let's do it!

The two quietly morph as Cole crawls on his stomach across the top of the hill in order not to be spotted.

Cole- Falcon Summoner. On three. 1.

He pulls out the Falcon Summoner and draws back the arrow.

Zayto- 2...

Zayto pulls out his dino key and places it in his sword and gets ready to activate, chomping the jaw down until it's one chomp away from activating.

Cole- Three!

Cole releases the arrow as it hits the monster, startling the group and knocking over the barrel.

Ransik- Huh? What's going on their you fools!

He walks over the the commotion as the tear is left unguarded and Zayto zooms down towards it. He lowers his sword next to the tear as it begins to repair. Ransik turns around and sees the Red Dino Fury Ranger to his surprise.

Ransik- A power ranger! I knew something was up! Men, attack!

The monsters swarm Zayto as he tries to finish repairing the tear.

Zayto- Oh come on, can't you give a guy a couple minutes to himself? Kinda busy here! Cole!!!

Cole- On it! Red Lion Zord descend!

The Red Lion comes rampaging through and destroys multiple monsters before sending Ransik flying. It then retreats to Cole as Zayto finishes off the tear. In the midst of the attack the barrel of explosive had landed with the monsters away from the tear and the monsters, along with Ransik, were starting to get up.

Zayto- Cole, you up for some target practice?

Cole pulls back his arrow and laughs as Zayto pats his shoulder.

Cole- You bet!

He releases the flaming arrow and the explosive explodes on impact, decimating the monsters.

Ransik- DAMN YOU MEDDLING RANGERS!!!

Cole and Merrick laugh as the Red Lion Zord retreats to rest. The two take off their helmets as Zayto pulls out his communicator and speaks.

Zayto- Hey guys, and Zordon. The western tear is repaired. We'll meet you guys at the cave. T-Lion, over and out.

Zayto pockets the communicator as Cole grins uncontrollably.

Zayto- What?

Cole- T-Lion? That's our duo name?

The two begin to laugh hysterically as they make their way back. And the western sector of the null realm, is finally repaired.
