Feferi couldn't believe her eyes.
Right before her, on her very own husktop screen, were the messages she had missed from Aradia.
She had swam away from the computer for just an hour or two! But it was already too late. Aradia would be long gone, regardless of what she said about responding the next time she messaged.

Feferi swam angrily around her room, eventually feeling to exhausted to do anything but just float in despair.
