Chapter 3 - Happy Birthday PTizzle!

'Wake up guys!' I whispered to Emmi and Brock. 'Time to get up! It's Avia's birthday!'

We all decided to creep into Avia's room before she got up.

'On the count of three.' I whisper before opening her door.

I put up 3 fingers, then two, then one.

'Happy Birthday, Avia!' We all whisper-shouted.

Avia opened her eyes.

'Thanks guys!' she smiled. 'Can I sleep some more now?'

'Haha! Sure sweetie!' Colette laughed.

'Happy birthday to you!' We all began singing as I took out the camera.

'Cha cha chicken!' Emmi added.

'Happy birthday to you!'

'Cha cha chicken!'

'Happy birthday dear PrincessAviaTizzleTard!' (So many people said so many different things it just turned into jibberish.)

'Happy birthday to yoooooooooooou!' We ended, with me of course, doing my signature finish.

'Thank you so much, Brailee!' Avia screamed as she tackled her cousin after opening new American Girl Doll clothes.

The rest of the evening was amazing. Avia had an awesome time with her cousins. We had spaghetti (of course) for dinner, then we had some karaoke and the kids had a sleepover. I still couldn't believe my baby girl was 10. Oh, I forgot to mention what happened after the gift opening...

Colette called everyone into the living room and on the TV there was a picture of Avia when she was a baby.

'Ready, girls?' Colette asks the other females in the room.

'Ready.' Mom, Carlie, Kayli and Brailee reply.

They all stood in a line at the front of the room. My mom began talking first.

'Avia, you're such a sweet little girl. I love you so much and I can't believe the fine young lady you're turning into.'

Then Carlie followed. 'Thank you so much Avia. You're the bravest person I know! You give me courage to do things everyday.'

And Kayli... 'You give my kids joy each day. Thank you for making them and me happy people. Keep on being you.'

And Brailee... 'Thank you for being such a nice cousin. I'll love you forever and you'll always be my best friend.'

And finally, her mother. Colette. 'Avia. These ladies have all said something about you that they love and I wanted to make sure you knew how much you matter to us all. You're such a kind, loving and amazing girl. We all admire you're bravery, courage and you're caring heart. You make me proud every single day.' A lone tear slid down my wife's face. 'I love you. My big 10 year old.'

That was my favorite part of the night...
