Antidote

The scientist told the truth that the cure was to inject an antidote to the mutants to revert back to humans. The same goes for intelligent animals to revert back to their original animal behavior.

"You got the formula for the antidote?" Ladybug wondered.

"It's all in the laboratory! I swear!" The scientist was too scared of Cat Noir's claws.

"Well, let's go there then," Cat Noir said.

Much later, they got back to the laboratory, which now was under police investigation. Cat Noir's super cat vision zooms in to see that the talking animals were giving the cops a shock.

"Let me out of here!" A parrot speaking fluent, demanded.

"Let's focus, milady" Cat Noir said.

"Okay, it has to be here" Ladybug checked one freezer.

"It's not gonna be easy to get close to a mutant. They'll tear us to pieces" Cat Noir looked around.

"I thought the cops took all of them in," Ladybug said.

"I better hope so," Cat Noir said and found a safe lock on the wall, must be where they kept the antidote. He tore the lid off and found some vials of the antidote, "Here it is. It's a synthetic antidote gas" Cat Noir said.

"Perfect. Now we need to cure all the victims" Ladybug said.

"It's not easy, milady. This is synthetic gas, which means they have to smell it" Cat Noir said.

"Very well, Kitty" Ladybug said as Cat Noir puts the antidote in a bag.

"Come on, we gotta get this to a professional scientist," Cat Noir said.

"Of course" They headed out from the lab.

Jumping from roof to roof to go to a college place for students to become professors. The teens may be young but they need someone to know about the synthetic gas antidote. Ladybug heads inside the office to explain the situation they are dealing with and they need a professor to take a look at the antidote.

"Right away. Come with me" One of the students said.

She brought the two to their teacher, who was also a scientist. The classroom was filled with chemistry and students were about to leave to head to their next class.

"Hey everyone. Me and Cat Noir are here for a special visit" Ladybug awkwardly waved at them.

"Is that the cat burglar with you?" One of the professors asked.

"Yes, but we need a favor from you" They showed the antidote.

"It's a big problem and when I mean big, I mean bad and evil" Cat Noir explained.

"Hmmm. Let me see that. I might need one sample to analyze it" One scientist said. He was given one vial and placed it in some machine to see the results.

"It's a synthetic gas, that's my guess," Cat Noir said.

"Yes, it is. Made with a reverse mutagen" The scientist said.

"So in other words, it repairs the DNA structure back to a human without harming the body?" Ladybug said.

"Exactly. It undoes the mutation" The scientist said.

"So how do we cure them without getting ripped to pieces? It won't help to make them sniff it" Cat Noir said.

"Why not your smoke bombs?" Ladybug said.

"Good idea, milady. That could work" Cat Noir agreed.

"That's a marvelous idea. This synthetic gas could work like smoke bombs to get closer to the mutants" The scientist said.
