My hearts pounding. I feel like it's about to leap out of my chest. I can't hear anything but 'bump, bump, bump' I feel my heart in my throat. The beating of it. I feel like if I speak my heart will come out.

2:30 P.M.
It's been hours. With Gareth beside me I feel less panicked but still like somehow, someway, I might lose this Case. 'Lord, I know I've done A lot of wrongs. Please help me put him away...Amen.'
"We found Mr. Y/l/n......Guilty. On the charges of Abuse, kidnapping, abandonment, As he abandoned his child when she was young. And lastly, child endangerment. Along with Mr. Y/l/n, Mrs. Y/l/n will also be found guilty for: Abandonment, We will bring her into custody. Bail will be set at 100 grand. 25 years to life."
Suddenly every feeling of losing that case left my body the second I heard the words 'Guilty'. I jumped into Gareth's Arms. I still heard a scoff. 'Amy...'
After we won the case and everyone left I looked at the Judge.
"Your honor?"
"Yes?"
"What's the legal age you can move out?"
"Well 16. Your guardians raise you till then. Once you hit 16 you can move out without Permission." The judge said.
"Thank you, Your honor."
With that I ran out and started talking to Gareth.
