The next couple of days were quite stressful. I was invited to an interview in Hosu to tell my version of the events of that day, but I had to adjust it slightly to avoid unnecessary details, but I left a part with how I had to ridicule Stain and his ideology. Even though his motive was simple and clear, the performance was utter shit. He didn't even bother to investigate what he was killing for. It feels like he found a theory or a stupid idea about rotten heroes on some dark website, and he got so into it that he went to kill. It caused a lot of noise into the media, but I was sure it affected the view on hero killer, not in the best for him way. People that were agreeing with him are now backing down, finding a true Motive he was killing for, and which downsides it caused. It doesn't mean that all people that was agreeing with his ideology disappeared, but they were much less in number now. The authorities in charge of Hosu City, which means Police Department and mayor of Hosu gave me an award for my work, while mayor gave me a wristwatch with his autograph engraved on the case. The quality of this wristwatch was truly great, so I decided to keep it as a souvenir of some sorts.

Rumi also got her huge doze of attention and even more fans, but she made accent on my abilities and how it was even possible to get in Hosu the moment the attack even happened. After the interview finally ended, we returned back to Saitama Prefecture and continued our patrol. Of course, now that we're temporarily huge celebrities due to the news showing only us and Hero Killer, we were meeting huge amount of fans on the streets, and Rumi told me to get used to it so it won't become a problem in the future. She already got used to it, so it was easier to deal with when she's near. I feel safe whenever she's near, and it feels great.

The downside of the Hero Killer being in trending news is the rise of criminal activity. Sadly, those who believe that Stain is right in his doing still exist and commit crimes and even attack heroes, but most of them are just punks that suddenly got the balls to try and do something more than sitting on a couch and scratch their butt. For that, nor me, nor Rumi were sparing them. If they went somewhere after getting beaten, it was mostly hospital. They willingly went for crimes such as attacking a heroes patrolling the area, or stealing something from the local shop. This was not the situation of survival where they had to steal, so of course, we naturally made sure they won't go for crimes by fearing they will get beaten and sent to jail.

Not only that, but some bigger gangs grew the balls to collect more people and cause more chaos, and one of this situation is something I'm dealing with right now.

- "I can't hear anything inside, not even the ticking of clocks, it seems they got someone with the quirk that made the room soundproof. Can you tell how many people are inside?" - Rumi contacted me with communicator, since she was on the other door to the room. We covered both sides so no one will escape, but it was impossible to detect anything inside with sound. Concentrating on the soul abilities, I exhaled the air out of my lungs, counting the souls of those who were inside. Right now, we were in another bank that was robbed, but this time, the group was much bigger and with a better plan. They got the hostages, and they have actual weapon, which means guns or illegal quirk supporting tools, the information we got on a quick briefing from police department gave us not enough info, but it was all they managed to get with their limitations.

- "Thirty-five souls that radiates sin, eleven souls filled with fear, and a single unknown presence, the form of the soul remind an animal, probably a pigeon or something close to it. It doesn't seems to be moving, but those who are armed move constantly around the room to make sure the hostages won't do anything to get away or call for help. I can see two guys doing something in the corner, probably readying the explosives or something else to escape. None of the hostages seems wounded, and they all are collected in the center so they can be easily seen by them. I've got an idea how to make sure they're safe, but let's hear your ideas first." - I tried to collect as much information as possible without any way to hear or actually see them, but it was enough to start the assault with the plan.
