Most of the clergy was bubbling with excitement at the prospect of mass that evening with news spreading around about an announcement. Most assumed it had to do with Cardinal Copia be anointed as the next Papa Emeritus. Others were assuming it was about the mystery behind the future prime mover in the coming months. Either way, the church was beaming with energy regardless if the news would be positive or negative.

All of the pews were packed tightly with the siblings chattering about whereas Dahlia was nervously adjusting her turtleneck that was hiding the bite marks from the night before. Dew had spent hours meticulously choosing where his marks would go. To him, Dahlia was a canvas waiting for him to paint a beautiful painting.

After he had fucked her senseless, the woman was surprised he had carried her to the bath he had run for her. His gentleness after repetitively claiming her hadn't gone unnoticed for sure. Both of them had ignored the electric feeling in the air as he kissed her forehead and left that night. Dahlia was praying to Lucifer that this wasn't just a one time thing with the ghoul. But that didn't seem like the case as the ghouls arrived for mass.

Dewdrop's eyes admittedly searched for the human amongst the clergy. Once he found his pretty little pet, his gaze didn't part from hers even as the Cardinal took center stage. Her attention didn't even waver from the ghoul's as her future husband spoke. Dew smirked at her while the Cardinal's words drifted off in the background. It was unfortunate that the woman had to be covered up but the thought of seeing her again tonight naked under him satisfied him for the time being.

"Please if you could come up here, tesoro?" Cardinal Copia reached out his hand to his future wife breaking her attention from Dewdrop. She blinked a few times before blindly reaching for his hand rather confused. As he guided her to the center of the stage, Dahlia felt herself growing nervous with each step. Each of the ghouls glanced over at Dewdrop whose tail begun moving more agitatedly.

"I would like to present our coming prime mover, Dahlia Amato." Dahlia watched the Cardinal pat at his cassock nervously. Most of the clergy was watching with bated breath as Copia finally pulled out what he was frantically searching for. The box sat in his hand looking rather menacingly to the woman who was nervously glancing around the room. Sister Imperator stood proudly as her son revealed the black pearl engagement ring. The temperature in the room rose dramatically but most of the room ignored as the gasps were heard.

"I-I hope you like the ring, tesoro." Cardinal gently grabbed her hand to slip the ring on her finger. She could feel the room spinning as he nervously kissed the top of her hand. Sister Imperator joined them on the stage next to Copia to congratulate him. Most of the clergy rushed towards the stage to bombard them with questions about the ceremony. However all Dahlia could do was glance back at Dewdrop who was stomping off the stage with Aether following behind. Cirrus tried comforting her with a smile before leaving as well in case the other ghoul couldn't calm Dew down.

"Dew, I warned you this would happen several times

"Dew, I warned you this would happen several times. She was brought here to become prime mover not your little plaything." Dew hissed before moving to pounce on Aether but had been held back by Cirrus. She was trying to pull him further away from the scene attempting to cool him down. Plus the group hadn't strayed far from the congregation still excitingly congratulating the Cardinal.
