Five years later: 2015

Yeonjun sighed as he stared outside his balcony watching as the billboard opposite his apartment was being changed with a new banner.

It'd been close to a year since he had moved into a new apartment. After his mother's passing, Yeonjun had nothing he had left to live for. He was glad his mother had supported him throughout his university life once he had left. He had a decent job that paid enough to cover all his expenses and clear out any debts they had. Going to the studio to teach the kids on the weekends to cool off and follow his dream at the same time had proved fruitful.

At least he didn't regret not being able to pursue dance, he still had it with him in other ways.

Although she never realized what his presence meant for Yeonjun, she still did what she had to do for him. He would always be grateful for that but he could also not forget how any mention of the guest that once lived in their house had become a taboo topic.

Yeonjun relied on that to forget about him. But to no avail.

It was a Sunday morning and Yeonjun just couldn't seem to sleep it off. It was aggravating. He hated being left idle, because the next thing he knows, he would be digging up memories from the past.

And that was the last thing he ever wanted.

Yeonjun had tried so hard to move on— or if he could find someone else. Parties and going out on blind dates that his friends set up for him, nothing seemed to work.

In one way or the other, his mind would somehow link it all back to him and his heart would turn heavy with the thought.

Maybe his soul was only meant for him.

The billboard had finally been set up, big and bright against the young rays of the sun.

Something about a band that was about to debut in the next few days.

Yeonjun would have rolled his eyes and just walked out of the balcony had he not looked at the familiar pain of eyes staring right back at him— well, kind of.

A large picture of him along with two other boys holding a keyboard and guitar in a sorta cool pose.

They looked really handsome but Yeonjun simply couldn't take his eyes off of that one boy.

Taehyun.

Yeonjun's jaw dropped to the floor at the sight. This just couldn't be true, right?

There was no way a hugeass billboard of the boy he loved so much (still did) appeared before him. Was fate playing a funny joke on him? How was it possible?

He rubbed his eyes multiple times before looking back at the billboard again and it really was him!

He didn't even realize his cheeks had turned wet with tears until they dripped down his chin.

Taehyun really went for singing, like they'd dreamed together. Though it was not in the way they wanted it to be.

The next thing Yeonjun knew was that he'd already bought the tickets to the debut showcase, picked up his wallet and mobile phone and made his way to the company he was set to debut in.

He wasn't wasting another second.

.

.

Okay now that he was there, Yeonjun hadn't an idea how and what he was supposed to do. He hopped into his car and drove off to the company but now he was simply a lost kid.
