Alma

This morning I realized that I was out of allergy pills. And crap if I run out of those I go insane! My body feels gross, head hurts, and I look like I want to kill you. So this is why I am on my way to the pharmacy.

I left my little apartment and hopped into my car. And I drove these beautiful Seattle streets. Ever since I moved here for school purposes, life has been so great. I just love seeing the beautiful skies and the scenery. I've met so many amazing people!

I really love Seattle it's so cute and words cannot express how much I love it here. This is part of the reason why I love driving around for no reason or walking. I can't get enough of this place.

I finally arrived Walgreens and made my way to the pharmacy section. I told the man at the counter that I needed a refill on my pills and he said that they'd be ready in about ten minutes. So I sat my ass down and sighed.

Why must we wait at pharmacies for so long? Like do y'all make the drugs in there? Or what?

I started playing mortal combat on my phone too keep me busy but something distracted me. Or should I say someone.

This white boy. Blonde hair. Blue eyes. He's so tall and those black skinny jeans make his legs look so good. His hair is styled so nicely. Wow. I mean just wow he's so beautiful and so attractive I could cry.

"Yeah can I get a refill?" Is that an accent I hear? Wow yes mama.

The cute white boy handed him about four bottles of empty prescription pills. Damn why so many? Wonder if he's sick too. Maybe they're allergies too.

"Why yes son, they should be ready in about a half hour." The man at the counter said to the white boy.

The white boy nodded and smiled at him. He turned and we made eye contact. He grinned at me and sat beside me.

Honestly I could of died right there and then.

"Watcha playin' there?" He suddenly whispered to me. I got so surprised, I jumped and turned to look at this beautiful ass boy.

"Mortal combat." I responded as I looked up at him. I smiled at him and I honestly felt that I was in a trance. Those eyes were so wonderful.

"Hey look you died." He said as he looked at my character get killed.

"Huh? Oh shit." I cursed. Oh man, I blushed so hard and exited out of the game . Crap he knows I was probably staring at him. Oh god!! How long was I staring?

"Aw sorry I made you die," he paused to elbow me, "and blush."

I groaned and put my hands in my face. He laughed and spoke in that beautiful Australian accent. But that laugh was music to my ears. I took my face out of my hands and looked at him grinning at me. This made me feel so happy and I laughed at myself.

"I probably seem like a total creep right know don't I?" I said. He turned in his seat to make it easier for him to look me in the eye and responded to me,

"Why of course not! I find you very entertaining!" He smiled at me again. Ugh he's making me so nervous. Word vomit here it comes.

"Well I find you very ho-" I stopped myself before I even finished the embarrassing word.

"Ho?" He questioned and raised his eyebrow at me. But also fucking smirked at me.

Ah shit, quick! Save your ass!

"Homicidal!" I said smiling. He responded with another one of his beautiful laughs.

"Why am I homicidal?" He responded still laughing.

"Because you are the reason why my character died in mortal combat. I died because of you!" Man nice save Alma.

"Nice save." Well fuck, at least I tried. I blushed at looked away from him.

"Ms. Saldaña? Your prescription is ready." Exclaimed the man from Walgreens.

I got up and looked at the grinning boy staring up at me. I stuck my tongue out at him and made my way towards the counter. I payed for my prescription and thanked the man.

I turned and looked at the white boy typing into my phone.

"And what do you think you're doing?" I said with my arms crossed laughing at him already knowing exactly what he was doing. He finished typing into my phone and handed it to me.

"I think you know exactly what I'm doing babe." He said and laughed. "Look you seem like a really cool person and I'm new to Seattle, I don't have many friends here." He confessed.

"Oh really?!! Man you're gonna love it here! Scenery is to die for! Coffee everywhere! It's a paradise here." I beamed.

He laughed at my sudden excitement about the city. "I'm sure I will, as long as I get to see you more often. I love it when I get called ho- I mean homicidal." He smirked again, wow lil bitch. I see you.

"Wow, never gonna let that go are you?" I said narrowing my eyes at him. He laughed and I couldn't help but laugh with him. That laugh is so contagious.

After our laughter died off I decided that I needed to go continue on with my day. I'd love to stay and chat with this really hot boy but I've gotta busy day ahead of me.

"I've gotta run blondie. I'll see you around." I said smiling at him.

"Wait! I never even got your name." He said pouting.

I hate when I giggle, but the way he pouted was too cute I just had too.

"Alma, Alma Saldaña." I responded. "And yours might be?"

He got up from his seat and took his hand out for me to shake it. I smiled at his gesture and shook his hand.

"Luke," he grinned. "Luke Hemmings."
