Hindi ako pinayagang mag-dorm, condo, or apartment. It's not a big deal to me anyways. I am an early bird, and I have a car so it's totally fine. My enemy is just the heavy traffic, although it's not usually a heavy traffic jam.

Pagkarating ko sa bahay, my two brothers was there, si kuya Marshall, and kuya Maverick. Kuya Marshall is somewhat the boy version of me, and has the closest personality sa akin, compared sa dalawa ko pang kuya. He's calm, doesn't really like talking, laging bored, and is usually in his bubble.

Kuya Maven who is not here, and is in USC right now, is always hot headed, for me at least... Or maybe to some, I guess? He is direct and straight to the point. He is also blunt that sometimes nakakasakit siya magsalita. He doesn't like sugarcoating words. And he is also honest.

And Kuya Maverick is the most mature of them all. He truly has the eldest sibling vibes. Kuya Marshall and him are almost the same, except, Kuya Maverick is not lutang like Kuya Marshall. I don't see him that often na rin, kaya nagulat ako na nandito siya.

"How's your studies?" He suddenly asked me as I opened the ref para kumuha ng tubig.

"Uh, ok lang." I said. Taking a quick glance at him. I saw him nod. Si kuya Marshall naka upo lang sa dining table habang nanonood ng medical drama sa ipad niya.

"Good."

I just stood there and drank my water, unwilling to respond. In the presence of my own brothers, I honestly feel intimidated. I constantly feel like I'll never be able to compete with them.

"I've watched that, he's going to die." Sabi ni kuya Maverick habang tinuturo niya yung isang character.

"Kuya."

Umalis nalang ako sa kusina at pumunta sa kwarto ko. I started reviewing after cleaning myself and arranging my things sa kwarto. I couldn't study well kapag madumi ako o yung surroundings ko.

Due to boredom, I also completed all of the activities that are due next week. Although I am not a smart student, and I am super average and boring. I have no intriguing talents and I constantly feel lost with my academics. But I'm trying my best. Or not. But at least I am trying.

I turned around with my swivel chair at tumingin sa floor to ceiling windows ko. The sun is already setting, transforming the whole sky into a kaleidoscope of orange and crimson colors.

I continued on doing my assignments until I was summoned at the kitchen for supper.

I wasn't expecting for all of my kuyas to be there. Even kuya Maven was there. Nakaupo na sila sa hapag, tahimik ang lahat.

I slowly sat beside the empty seat beside kuya Marshall.

"Okay, let's eat." My father said. He is seated at the end of the table. Beside him was kuya Maverick at left, and kuya Marshall at right. Beside kuya Maverick is kuya Maven, and beside kuya Marshall is me.

We dined there in silence. Only the clicking of the utensils against the plates could be heard. However, the food that was served was appetizing so the silence wasn't really bothering. I am used to it. We all are, I think?

"I'm pleased that you are all here." My father suddenly spoke, breaking the silence.

Kuya Maverick has an apartment or condo, I'm not really sure what, near his university. So does kuya Maven, near USC. Kuya Marshall still lives here sa bahay like me.

It is not even Friday or weekdays, kaya nakakataka kung bakit nandito silang lahat.

"Maverick, continue to do well in your studies. Maybe next year or this year, you will meet your future fiancée." He said. I looked at my father in confusion. Nakita ko rin na naguguluhan 'yung dalawa ko pang kapatid. Kuya Maverick just nodded at him calmly, as if alam na niya.
