Paramedics rushed Lauren into the ambulance, a dog jumping into the back with them. They were about to put her back out until they saw the tag. Daisy Hecox- Emotional Support Animal. They made sure the animal was able to stay in the room with the patient after she was stabilized. Doctors weren't able to get in touch with family members for Lauren, it wouldn't have mattered they were across the country. She laid in the hospital bed nurses keeping a close eye on her, waiting for her to wake up. Daisy had laid on a blanket by the bed, just waiting for Lauren to wake up. If you say animals don't have true emotions, Daisy cried tears for one of her closest human companions. She knew that Lauren was trapped somewhere in between.
Ian was on his way home, about to turn towards the house when he saw it. Lauren's car turned over, smashed to pieces. He pulled to the side getting out asking what was going on. No one really knew. "Where is the girl that was in the car?" He walked closer to the car seeing a horrifying sight. "Where is she?" Police had to restrain Ian from getting any closer. He finally calmed down enough to get information of where they had taken her. He rushed to the hospital getting a room number for the girl he care for the most. Tears fell when he saw her, he didn't care what anyone thought. Reaching for her hand he pulled up a chair, not wanting to leave the girl who had been a mirror reflection of himself. He knew this was just a bump in the road compared to anything Lauren had ever dealt with before. Ian usually didn't pray much, but if God could hear him he would give anything to keep this girl strong. Little did he know it was so much more than that.
