After dragon training, I went back to the area where I found the valstrax and found a new trail

Y/n: what am I doing this is crazy, why am I following this thing

despite my warnings...to myself, as wired as that sounds, I kept following the trail that lead me to a type of cavern. I leaned over inside the cavern as the valstrax flew up past me but then fell back down to the ground

Y/n: huh, it's stuck.

I kept looking at the dragon struggle to get out of the cavern but couldn't it looked like one of its wings was broken, because its fire it shooting out like the other side

Y/n: so that's why

Then the dragon took notice of me as I did it and there wasn't alot of trust but not really alot of aggression either but more like curiosity

Time skip

I got back to berk as it started raining and saw gobber and the rest of the kinds eating already

Gobber: aw there he is now tell me class where did y/n go wrong

Ruff: ah, he showed up

Tuff: he didn't get eaten

Astrid: he's never where he should be

I sat down at the table and took a checking leg and a drink

Y/n: you guys are just the best friends a guy could ask for you know that

Snoutlout: we're not your friends

Y/n:(eating) that's funny I didn't know toddlers could talk

Gobber: alright that's enough, now back to the lesson. To fight the good fight, you need to live and breathe this stuff. The dragon manual.

He said throwing a book on the table catching my attention

Gobber: everything we know about every Dragon we know of

That's when the thunder strikes catching gobber's attention

Gobber: no attacks tonight. Study up

Tuff: wait. You mean to read?

Ruff: while we're still alive?

Y/n: how else are you supposed to read things

Snoutlout: why read words when you can just kill the stuff the words tell you stuff about

Fishlegs: oh! I've read it like seven times. There's this water dragon that sprays boiling hot water at your face. And there's this other one...

Tuff: yeah. That sounds great there was a chance I was gonna read it

Ruff: but now...

Snoutlout: you guys read. I'll go kill stuff

That's when the others started following him except for Astrid

Astrid: so wanna tell me where you keep disappearing to

Y/n: places

Astrid: dose places have a name

That's when she got up and left and I grabbed the book of dragons and looked through it
