At the dragon training cage, eveyone gathered around as stoic made his speech whole y/n and astrid met in the tunnel

Astrid: hey, be careful with that dragon

Y/n: im more worried about something else

Astrid: so what are you gonna do

Y/n: make a mess. a little bit of crazy there a little bit of madness on top and just a dash of stupidity

Astrid: so the usual

Y/n: the usual, hey in case this goes bad make sure they dont find silver and tell him to leave that little pond it's not gonna hold him forever

Gobber: alright y/n it's time

Astrid: you can tell him yourself, oh, and try not to make things go bad

Y/n: I'll put some elbow into it

Y/n walked into the arena as the crowd cheered his name and as he looked through the assortment of weapons and noticed his mother's sword which he grabbed

Y/n: im ready

The door opens as the monstrous nightmare runs out with its body on fire trying to escape but stops when it noticed y/n

Y/n: okay big guy let's be easy

He said as the night fury got close and y/n stood his ground before placing his mother's sword on his back and placing his hand out
As everyone looked on in shock and awe

Stoic: stop the fight

Y/n: no! Just stay there and watch. These dragons there not what everyone thinks

That's when y/n placed his hand won't the nightmare surprising everyone

Y/n: we dont have to kill them

Stoic: I SAID STOP THE FIGHT!

he beats on the cage setting the dragon in panic mode as it lunges at y/n about ot bite of his arm but luckily y/n moves out of the way in time to avoid an injury but the dragon grabbed y/n by his mother's sword and flung him into the cage wall as he cried out in pain

Y/n: okay that could have gone better

Astrid: Y/n Move!

Y/n looked up as the dragon was about to stomp on him so he rolled out of the way and started running for a shield but the dragon spewed fire at the weapons destroying them

Y/n: not good

Stoic: Y/n over here!

Y/n noticed the gate opened and ran towards it but the nightmare got in front of him and was about to bite down on him but he used his sword the delay the dragon

Y/n: ugh,

Stoic: Y/n!

Suddenly everyone heard the sound, the sound of the valstrax approaching as silver jumped over everyone and blast his way into the cage wrestling the nightmare off of y/n as the nightmare went back into its cage

Y/n: silver you need to go now!

That's when the other Vikings went to kill silver as silver started to send them flying as they restricted him with a net stoic went to kill silver but y/n using his mother's sword blocked his father's axe and kicked him back to his surprise that's when the other Vikings restrained y/n taking his sword

Stoic: put the dragon with the others

Y/n was shoved in the great hall by his father who was visibly angry with him
