Ancient Love ~ Stefan Salvatore

Brooklyn walked out of her room at the same time Elena did. They smiled at each other, they both noticed Jeremy's door opened and decided to glance in. Jeremy was sketching in his sketch book and the two smiled at the sight. He hadn't sketched since before their parents died. Brooke quietly closed the door and the two head down stairs.

Downstairs, Jenna was getting ready to leave. Elena and Brooke came down the stairs, big smiles on their faces as they talked about Jeremy.

"Jeremy's got his sketch pad out." Elena said to Jenna once they seen her.

Jenna looked up, "You're kidding?" She said, shocked.

"Nope." Brooke shook her head, "But don't say a word. The minute we encourage him, he'll put it away."

"Psychology major." Jenna pointed out, "Check that!"

Brooke looked down at her phone. She was waiting for a text or a phone call, or basically anything from Stefan. Yes, she was mad at him, but she missed him more. It pained her to be without him.

Jenna and Elena glanced at each other, before they looked back at her.

"You and Stefan?" Jenna said and Brooke swiftly looked up, "Update?"

"Nope," She sighed, "He's leaving, moving away."

"Where is he going?" Elena asked.

"I've stopped asking questions." She said as she put on her jacket, "The answers get scary."

She opened the front door and the three headed out.

"Yours leaves, mine returns." Jenna sighed.

Elena and Brooke looked at each other concerned, "Logan?" Elena asked quickly.

Jenna rolled her eyes, "He's back." And Brooke groaned, "I didn't let him pass the front door."

"I hope you slammed it in his face." Brooke snarked, "Or on his foot. Or his arm."

"Ah, medium slam." She grimaced.

"Not good enough Jenny." Brooke scolded. "Three-strike rule, Jenna."

"You're not even allowed to watch the news." Elena chimed in.

"Exactly." Jenna pointed, "No more Logan "Scum" Fell."

"Period." Brooke said, before she got in her car with Elena and they drove to school.

Elena, Brooke and Bonnie were walking down the opposite end of the hall. They seen Caroline and Matt together. Brooke waved cheerfully at Caroline, giving her a big thumbs up. Matt seen her and Caroline cringed. Matt laughed and waved at Brooke.

"Did I miss something?" Elena asked.

"They've been hanging out." Bonnie informed her.

"They've been doing more then hanging out Bon Bon." Brooke laughed and Bonnie nodded her head.

"Kind of weird, don't you think?" Elena said as she watched the new couple. Bonnie and Brooke shared a weird glance at Elena's comment.

"She needs someone nice like him," Bonnie said, "as opposed to a homicidal vampire like Damon."

Brooke cringed. She knew she shouldn't feel bad for Damon, but she did. He just found out that he will never get the love of his life back. Of course he isn't going to act rational.

"Yeah, how are you doing with all that?" Elena asked.

"I'm freaked out." Bonnie sighed, "Damon attacked me. I could be dead right now. But I'm also grateful."
