Chapter 16 - Love Letter

SERENA POV

I woke up, but Fred wasn't next to me. I thought nothing of it and went back to bed.

Until I heard some loud footsteps.

I sat up and saw Fred holding a piece of paper in his hand.

"What. The. Fuck. We haven't been dating for a fucking month and you already cheat on me? Not to mention the sweet moment we had yesterday?!"

"What are you talking about?"

He ignored me and got louder. "I KNEW something was wrong with him!? I mean, really, Fred? Dating a FUCKING BLACKWOOD?"

"Who are we talking about?"

"DON'T ACT STUPID! I KNOW! YOU DON'T HAWV TO PRETEND TO LOVE ME!"

I flinched at the time but he kept going.

"I SHOULD'VE NEVER LOVED YOU! YOU'RE A CHEATER AND MANIPULATOR FOR THINKING ABOUT PLAYING LOVEY-DOVEY WITH ME!"

He stepped even closer. "Fuck you," he threw the letter down on the bed, not caring if I was crying.

George ran into the room when he heard his brother leave. I was crying and he got up on the bed with me.

"Hey, hey, shhhh. Everything's okay."

I shook my head. "N-No, it's not."

He cradled me in his arms. After I stopped crying he wiped excess tears on my face. "Now, tell me what happened."

"He came into the room," I sniffled, "and he just yelled about me cheating. But I wasn't," I pointed to the letter, my hands shaking like my voice. "He threw that on the bed."

George picked it up and skimmed through it. "Oh shit."

"What is it?"

"A love letter..." he sighed, "from Draco."

FRED POV

(AN HOUR BEFORE )

I woke up with Serena cuddled against me. I smiled and quietly got off the bed; not waking her up. I made myself coffee and drank it. I watch some news until I heard the doorbell.

I opened the door to see the mailman. He gave me an envelope and walked away.

Weird, I thought. Who could be sending a letter at 8 in the morning?

I ripped the letter open and saw some fancy cursive.

Since our kiss, I couldn't stop thinking about you. Your beautiful face, your eyes, and everything. I love you. And I'm scared to say it, but I, Draco Malf-

I stopped reading the letter and checked who sent it.

Draco Malfoy

That bitch. He's confessing his love for my girlfriend? Wait...they kissed?!

I fucking knew it. I knew that they were acting funny.

I felt absolutely heartbroken. Did she not love me? Why did we even kiss?

I also felt angry. I mean, how could she? A few days of dating her and this happens!

I marched to our room and burst the door open.

(PRESENT TIME)

I was crying in the car. I don't know where to go but I just drove around.

Why? Why? Why?

I loved her with my whole life. How can she be so inconsiderate?

I heard the radio play a song.

Our song.

The song that we sung in the car when we went to the Picnic Park.

It was a Muggle station so it was a Muggle singing.

I cried even harder.

SERENA POV

I read the letter.

My Darling,
Since our kiss, I couldn't stop thinking about you. Your beautiful face, your eyes, and everything. I love you. And I'm scared to say it, but I, Draco Malfoy, love you. I hope you can send me a letter back so we could meet.

I'm guessing he missed the last part. Draco must've sent this to the wrong address; mine instead of Astoria. The letter was covered in a few tears that fell out of my eyes.

I cried in George's arms. "Why didn't he read it through? I didn't cheat on him."

"I know. We'll get him back home to tell him the truth. Everything's all right."

Me and George apparated to Draco's house.

I knocked on the door and Draco opened it. When I saw him, I couldn't help but crumble and cry again.

"What happened, Serena?"

"I-You sent it to the wrong house."

"Wha-"

George shoved the letter at him. "You ruined her. Fred got mad when he misunderstood since he didn't read all of it."

I cried harder, again. The flashbacks flooding through my mind.

"I-I'm sorry. I promise I didn't mean it."

"I know you didn't," I sniffled, "but I knew Fred did."
