Chapter 10

((A Few Days Ago))

Nobody knows about this but Mitsuya and Taiju would meet up every now and then to get something to eat or to just talk.

For some reason Taiju felt that he could talk to Mitsuya.

Since the day he went to his house to offer a truce between Toman and the Black Dragons, he could tell that Mitsuya was a man of his word.

Even the night they fought at the church, the night their truce was broken, he felt that it wasn't his intention.

Mitsuya- "How have you been?"

Mitsuya asked as they sat at a park.

Taiju- "Fine, I guess....How's everyone with you?"

Mitsuya- "They're all doing good, Yuzuha told me that Hakkai's doing alot better."

Taiju hums as he ate his dessert.

Mitsuya- "Do you ever plan to see them again?"

Taiju thought for a moment as he looks at his dessert.

Taiju- "I mean if it comes around to it yeah but...I don't know if I should."

Mitsuya- "Its been a while...I don't see anything wrong with saying hello once and a while."

Taiju sighs then finishes his dessert.

Mitsuya- "Hey so....my little sister Mana's birthday party is coming up, I don't plan to do much since my mom is working late that day but....if you want to...you can come."

Taiju sighs.

Taiju- "Are my siblings going too?"

Mitsuya- "I invited them but they told me they'd get back to me..."

Taiju thought for a moment before looking up at the sky.

Taiju- "You can send me the details but I'm not guaranteeing it.."

Mitsuya smiles and nods.

Mitsuya- "Just let me know if you do or don't, there's no hard feelings if you can't."

Taiju nods and looks at the sky in silence.

Mitsuya joining in as well.

((Friday))

Taiju still hasn't gotten back to Mitsuya about his invitation.

He wasn't sure if he even wanted to attend the event because he wasn't ready to face Hakkai and Yuzuha again.

Not after everything he has done.

Even if he went, what would they talk about anyways...

"Oh, Mana is going to love this.."

He heard a familiar voice and walked over and saw you inside the store.

She's here too?

When did she come?

I didn't even see her walk passed me..

He saw how excited you looked as you picked up the outfit you found.

Sighing, he walked off and decided to shoot Mitsuya a text.

You then remembered what Mitsuya told you and cleared your throat.
