It had been MONTHS since Taiju last heard from you.
At first he thought nothing of it.
But the longer it went.
The more the silence bothered him.
How can this be happening to me?...
He thought to himself.
He was used to being by himself and he thought that sharing his space with someone else is just going to disturb his peace.
But...
Why did it he feel empty after you left??
He just offered you an extra room just so you wouldn't be all alone at your place.
But after being with you for a few days, he realizes that his place had been missing something this whole time.
But he didn't notice it until you started cooking for him.
He didn't even ask you to.
He honestly thought that you were going to be in too much pain to cook and he was planning to buy you take out this whole time.
But when he saw you in the kitchen, making food even with the limited amount of strength you have.
He was shocked.
Even though you only cooked basic things.
It made his heart skip a beat.
He hasn't felt like this ever since....
Ugh...
In the beginning Taiju didn't even want to think about it..
Because thinking about it makes him feel weak..
But your cooking reminded him of his mother...
He doesn't want to admit it because he's not trying to compare you to her.
Hell no.
Its weird and he doesn't want to sound like he has issues.
He knows his mom is gone and there's no taking that back.
But he won't be honest if he says he doesn't miss her.
Ever since she passed, he's been alone.
Hakkai and Yuzuha had each other.
But him?
Just what his father left behind.
His anger.
His father is still alive but he's never home.
And he never showed any affection towards any of his children.
So Taiju felt that he had to be the parent figure in the house.
But it led to his own siblings trying to kill him in the future.
