Joining the BAU

*Y/N POV*

Your alarm woke you with a consistent loud ass beeping right in your ear you had your alarm set as the iPhone opening sound as it normally wakes you up right away. You shoot straight up still half asleep you push the pillows off the bed in desperate attempts to find your phone to turn the alarm off, as you fling one last pillow off the bed but you hear a bang beside you on the floor your cup of water went all over the floor and you had thrown your phone halfway across the room.

"Great job y/n" you sigh to yourself stepping the bed you slip on the water puddle on the laminate flooring below you you slide along the floor a little nearly falling but you don't thankfully not to mention the fact your alarm is still beeping on the other side of the bedroom.

"Alright man, I get the point" you grunt walking over to find your phone, you pick it up finally turning off the alarm you walk over to your bedside cabinet plugging your phone into charge.

You groggily walk into the kitchen putting on the kettle you stand impatiently waiting for the kettle to boil so you can have your morning coffee and finally feel more human, getting lost in your thoughts the kettle finally clicks behind it.

You make yourself a coffee and walk back to your bedroom you grab your phone checking the time 6:00 am thankfully you still loads of time before work, you connect Spotify through the speakers you have in your bedroom and you put on ABBA.

ABBA and Queen are your favourite bands of all time you often wished you were during the time they were younger and preforming and stuff so you could attend their concerts, you adored them.

After finishing your coffee and having a scroll through your social media apps you sighed before getting up and going in the shower, you planned on taking a short shower today so you weren't late.

After your shower you brushed your teeth and quickly tweezed your eyebrows then you gave yourself your daily pep talk in the bathroom which left you feeling so damn confident, you walked into the bedroom going through your closet trying to find your best suit to wear.

Finally you found your black suit and you paired it with black boots and a black vest top, you quickly ironed your clothes and then checked the time 7:00 am, "Shit" you mumbled to yourself you had half an hour to get ready and into work.

You quickly threw on your clothes and tied your hair up in a pony tail quickly putting on some mascara and bronzer so you weren't completely pale looking and with one last quick look I'm the mirror you were finally ready to go.

You walk into the kitchen grabbing your keys off the hook locking the door you walked to your car once you had gotten into to your car you turned on the radio and began driving to work, luckily it was on only a 15 minute drive away.

You had finally pulled into the parking lot and you grabbed the big of files and your go-to bag although you were unsure wether your boss would let you fly today or not but you took it to be on the safe side.

You got out the car and your anxiety kicked in massively you felt your stomach dropped as you looked at the huge building in front of you, you couldn't quite wrap your head around the fact that you were now working here it felt surreal even though you hadn't officially started yet.

You gathered your thoughts and you walked in the building and you made your way to the elevator just as is was closing someone out there hand in to hold it open, they stepped in and you gave a shy smile.

"Hello, how are you" The man spoke "Hi, I'm okay a bit nervous, how are you?" You responded "Is it your first day?" He replied "Yeah, I need to find an Agent Hotcher?" You said unsure "Ah, you must be the new team member! I'm Dr Reid! It's so nice to meet you! I'll show you were to go" He put his hand out and shook yours.

"Thank you so much!" You replied with a sigh of relief "Oh sorry I am so rude I am y/n y/l/n" You laughed a little at the awkwardness "Well y/l/n, it's a pleasure to meet you!" He smiled.

The elevator opened and you followed Reid like a little lost puppy into the bullpen he showed you to your desk so you could put you stuff down and then he took you to hotch's office. You took a deep breath before knocking on the door, "Come in!" You heard a loud deep voice shout from inside.

You nervously walked through the door trying not to trip on your way in "Hello, what can I do to help you" He spoke looking up from the paperwork on his desk "Hello sir, I am y/n y/l/n, it's my first day today" You spoke shyly "Hello y/n it's great to meet you" He shook your hand.

"Would you like to follow me out here so I can introduce you to everyone?" He said "Yeah sure" You responded a little nervous "Don't be nervous, I'm sure they will love you" He assured me, We both walked outside.

"Everyone can I get your attention for a second!" He shouted "this is y/n y/l/n, she is new and it's her first day here at the BAU, my team make her feel at home" You stood there looking at everyone whilst everyone looked you, you hated this all eyes on me type feeling but you couldn't let others see it.

Hotchner went back into his office and you went down to your desk you started unpacking everything when you heard a very familiar voice coming from behind you "Y/N?..."
