warning: case material (kidnapping/murders)
—————————————————————"Y/N?..." You hear behind you and God you know that voice anywhere I mean how could you forget the voice of your ex girlfriend that you were with for 4 years.
You turn around and god you were right JJ is standing behind you with a very confused but happy look on her face.
"JJ?, wh-what are you doing here?!" You say confused "Uhm I work here, what are you doing here y/n?" JJ asked "Oh yeah, it's my first day today, I'm not officially part of the-" JJ cut me off when she seen a women walk into a room in front of us.
"That women is Garcia and when she walks like that you know she has a case, come on let's go get started" You followed JJ into a room where there was six other people sitting around a circular desk, it was again quite intimidating but everyone stopped what they were doing and looked up with a huge smile on their faces.
"Hey guys as you already know this is y/n but everyone better make her feel welcome or else..." JJ spoke and everyone introduced themselves pretty quickly as Garcia had the case up on the screen and passed it over to JJ to take the lead.
"Okay so Georgia have been in contact and there are two victims who have been found dead in their homes in an hour ago, police where on scene unusually fast due the fact one of the unsubs called and told them the other was about to murder them, unsub A sounded scared on the phone and begged them to come because unsub B was about to kill the sinners that lived there, police where on scene in four and a half minutes but unfortunately it was too late, they were gone, these are the pictures we have" JJ proceeded to show the pictures on the screen.
"Oh... god" Garcia said and turned her head to the side "Tell me when it's gone please" She said refusing to look at the screen, "Garcia you work for the FBI how can you not look at this" you say quite confused.
"I am just the technical analyst, I can't look at all that gruesome stuff, I like to see the good in the world and help my team find the bad people but I can't see the bad in the world, I love to hide myself from it the best I can and just try focus on the positivity instead" Garcia says kind of hiding behind her hands.
"I'll explain everything later" Emily laughs and smiles over at me "Great, now that we have whatever that was cleared wheels up in 30!" Hotch says as he stands up leaving the room.
You follow him out of the room "Sir, am I supposed to be coming or?" You ask unsure of what's happening "Yeah your coming with us, welcome to the team
y/l/n" Hotch says whilst walking into his office to grab his things. The nerves start to kick again so many thoughts are racing through your mind when you feel a hand on your shoulder "Hey honey, are you okay?" You hear a voice behind you, You quickly turn around and see Emily "Hey, uh yeah I'm okay" You give a half smile.
"Hey it's okay if your nervous or anything your first case is always the scariest but I promise you we have the best team who won't let anything happen to you no matter what case we come across I promise you" She smiles "Thank you for reassuring me" You smile back "Come on let's go board the jet, you can sit with me the whole flight" Emily suggests and you agree.
Half way through the flight there was a lot of turbulence and the panic set in as you absolutely hate flying as it is never mind turbulence but you knew part of this job was being on a jet, but Emily quickly noticed you were feeling uneasy "Hey y/n are you okay?" She asks turning to look at you.
"Yeah I just hate turbulence it really freaks me out" You say as you start picking at your fingers but Emily puts her hand on yours to calm you down. "You know, turbulence very rarely causes planes to crash" Reid begins speaking "Hey Reid uhm you know that actually doesn't help me" You look up at him.
