Chan smiles

 "Let's go, then"  he says as they began to walk

Changbin follows not too far behind 

After a few minutes of walking they arrive at a small café 

"After you" Chan says opening the door for Changbin

"Thank you"

They sit at a small table for two near a window

They order what they want and they smile at each other

"Why were you crying?" Chan asks

Chan knew it was inappropriate to ask but he was curious

Oh...

"Um, my boyfriend broke up with me..." 

He said avoiding eye contact with the older male

"Oh...don't be sad, you deserve someone better. Someone who will love and cherish you. There's plenty of more people out in this world, Changbin. Don't give up on love"

"Thanks, I guess. What about you? You seem a little...down"

Chan's facial expression changed to a more sad one

"I'm just a big crybaby, heh..."

Changbin gives him a reassuring smile

"Hey, it's ok to cry. Everyone does. I don't know what you are going through, and I know we just met but I hope whatever it is that's bothering you goes away and allows happiness into your life. You can't spend your whole life crying and hiding from your fears, you need to face them and show that you are a strong person, one who is capable of much more"

Chan processed what Changbin had told him

"Thank you, it's been a while since I've actually talked to someone that isn't myself. It's nice to be out the cave" 

He smiles

Their drinks arrive and they enjoy the peaceful silence between them occasionally broken by a little laugh or one talking about how much life sucks and so on

After a while they both finish and receive the check

"Let me pay -"

"Nope" Chan declines "I invited so it's only fair if I pay"

Changbin just sits back, not wanting to argue 

"Can I get your number? Y'know to keep in touch and stuff, unless you don't want to"

Changbin chuckles a bit at the older's behavior 

"Sure, give me your phone and I give you mine"

They put in their numbers and return the devices to the rightful owner

"Thank you, Chan" Changbin said as they walk out

"No, thank you for accepting. I hope we can hang out more in the future"

"Of course, bye" he waves at Chan 

And Chan waves back

In that moment

They both felt something...

A fuzzy feeling...

As they parted paths they thought...
