Peke J as a Guardian Angel.

Guardian Angels have been present for over millions of years, and even though you have only lived the equivalent to eight lifetimes, never had you heard of two Guardian Angels having to coexist in the same city. Sure, every once in a while, Guardian Angels could cross paths on the country they lived, but not even in your wildest dreams did you think of encountering one living in the same neighbourhood as you. Worse, in the same apartment complex as you.

One year after moving in with your humans, Keisuke and his mom, you felt a familiar aura near you.

Messengers were known for their grey auras since they doted a sceptical outlook on everything. Reapers had auras similar to the colour red, expressing their energetic and fierce personality. And lastly, Angels were known by the colour pink, for their kind and compassionate nature; that's the kind of aura that you felt on that cold December night.

The first time you crossed paths with your new neighbour, Jonathan, funny enough, was when both of you were in your cat form, you as Aiko, and him as Peke J (as you later learned from him).

At first, things were a little bit weird, you admit, and you can't even think about the number of people that gave you weird looks every time they would see two cats nodding at each other like little distinguished gentlemen.

With time, you got used to one another, and became something akin to friends. However, that didn't last, for when, one day, you got home from one of your strolls, you saw that Jonathan had sneaked into your family's apartment and was currently on Miyo's lap taking a nap and purring.

Oh no you won't.

That was the first time Miyo had seen her precious Aiko being somewhat violent and couldn't decide between scolding you or laughing at the scene playing in front of her; in your defence, you had only bitten his tail and tried to drag him out of her lap, nothing worth of a scolding if you were honest.

That last drop happened a few years later, when Baji was sitting on the apartment stairs chilling, and you were sitting with him, only that you were on a couple of stairs higher than him. From your position, you could see Jonathan making his way up the stairs as a cat with one goal in mind: Baji's lap.

He's doing this on purpose!

You never shifted so fast into Aiko, and when you were in front of Peke J/Jonathan you were a hissing mess and had all your fur up.

Also a first; for never in your life have you ever hissed at someone.

Of course, Baji found it hilarious and at every chance that he got he would tease you about it. Additionally, every time he hangs out with Chifuyu, he had to fight back his laughter at your displeased face; certainly, directed at his friend's Guardian Angel.

"This shit is too funny; lovin' the cat-titude." He whizzed.

You felt like hitting him.

Him and Jonathan.

You should seriously consider it.
