𝐄lowen stared at the ceiling, her body laying on her and Darius's bed. Weylyn had been gracious enough to give them a guest house to sleep in. It saved her mate from enduring her grandfather's threats and her mother's embarrassing stories.
She felt as if a weight had been lifted from her shoulder, well at least a bit of it. Her and mother had at last made up, but she still had to discuss her newly found relationship with her best friend.
'That would be such a blast.' Elowen rolled her eyes, both hands running her down her face in an aggravated manner. She could already hear the argument she was going to have with David and she quite honestly did not have the energy nor did she have the strength to deal with that right now.

Elowen had felt queasy all day, but she had chopped it up to the flight. She had thrown up that morning they left - though she blamed it on nerves. The human made a mental note to go to the pack doctor for some medicine.
She tilted her head when she heard the door open and giggled when a weight was suddenly looming over her. Lips trailed down her neck and across her cheek, until they finally connected with her own.
The brunette hands instinctively traveled up to Darius's curly locks, fingers tangling in the raven tresses. Her body melted at his touch and bent to his will and his will alone, she was his and he was hers.
It was as simple as that.
