Song: 911- Ellise
Azrael's POV
You guessed correctly!
The single person who I did not want to see.
Bliss.
The best hero on the planet, currently stalking a villain simply having fun in a random alleyway. What a party pooper.
As I was still holding the useless hero's head, she sighed while looking unamused, "What are you doing?"
"What do you think?" I glowered, "Thought I'd off this guy for trying to fight me for no reason."
Bliss rolled her eyes, "I highly doubt he didn't have a reason. Just let him go, and we can pretend this never happened."
Notice how she is avoiding any sort of conflict. The smart heroes know to be cautious, since their task force dedicated to bring me down failed miserably. Ever since then, they just try to keep me from causing too much trouble.
"No, I'm enjoying my time with him," I said, smirking.
"Well you can enjoy your time some other way. At least take your hand off of his face, it looks like you're squishing it," She suggested, scrunching her face.
I did as she asked, and the guy wasted no time before screeching like a hyena, "BLISS! HELP! HE'S CRAZY! MY LEGS ARE BROKEN! HE'S GOING TO KILL ME!"
Bliss shushed him, "Calm down, it'll be okay. I'm right here. Take some deep breaths for me, okay?"
He nodded and started breathing in slowly, closing his eyes as he did so. I have no idea why he suddenly felt safe, I'm literally like a foot away from his face. Plus I still had him pinned, so it amazed me how Bliss actually managed to calm him down.
"Are you a kindergarten teacher or some shit?" I questioned.
Her eyes narrowed, "I have to clean up your messes so damn much that I've become an expert at comforting your victims."
I smiled sarcastically, but as I turned back to face the sorry sucker, he spit in my face.
"Wrong move buddy," I hissed as I punched his face into the brick wall, knocking him out.
Judging by the blood dripping from his head as he went limp, that probably killed him.
Bliss raced over and started to check his heart rate and see if he was breathing. I watched as she used her powers to restart his heart and bring him back, wiping my face as well.
She has the ability known as "life," whatever that means. She rarely uses her abilities, but I think she can conjure plants and give things life. That's merely a guess though.
Sadly, it worked.
He was still out cold though.
She shoved me backwards, only managing to move me about an inch back, "Control your anger issues!"
"Says the person who just shoved me out of anger," I rebutted.
She blew some hair out of her face, strands that had fallen out of her usually tight ponytail. Her hair was a golden blond that almost reached her waist even while tied back. Personally, I always thought that the suit she wore made her look gorgeous, but no matter what I'll always dream about slitting her throat.
"Only because I'm trying to get a point across!" She exclaimed, sounding more frustrated by the minute.
All according to plan, of course.
