Valentines Day Special!

Hi, Everyone! Sorry if this is a short, an crappy, chapter, but I thought I should make something for Valentine's Day for you guys. (Because I love ya'll) hope you enjoy! (Also love it when you guys comment, The comments are always so interesting :) Just to add the narrator and love interest are seventeen right now. 

Lucas Johnson POV

My name is Lucas Devin Johnson and I think I have found true love. Sure, that sounds cheesey to the blind eye, but he's so sweet and beautiful. Yes, I'm homosexual, or as most would call it, gay, Got a problem with it?

Right now I'm on my way to confess to my love. I've told my sister, Annabeth Chase, all about it. She's really good at listening, and I consider her my best friend. Annabeth has greatly encourage me to tell him. And, yes, I'm a demigod. My mom's Athena, if you haven't already guessed from me calling Annabeth my sister.

I would consider my self a rather attractive boy. I have short, naturally wavy, blond hair, and light gray eyes with flecks of amber, or so I've been told. My skins rather pale, and I wear alot of black, always with my black leather jacket, but other than that I think I look okay. I prefer not to wear camp shirts.

At this point, All of you are probably wondering who my crush is at this point. It's... Austin Lake. I know. I know. How could a child of Athena like a child of Apollo? First of all, this has nothing to do with our parents. At all. I think he's really sweet, and handsome, and... Stop it! I need to be focus when I tell him. I need to stop blushing like an idiot.

" How's it going, Lucas?" Annabeth walks up to me, and then raises her eye brows," You've been standing here just staring at the Apollo Cabin for- Oh, your working up the nerve to ask Austin, aren't you?" She smiles," Good luck to you, but to warn you, I'd do it soon. He's going out into the city with Kayla in an hour." 

The butterflies in my stomach felt more like bunnies hopping up and down. Annabeth walks away to go find Percy, her boyfriend. I have to do it now. Nows probably the only chance I'm going to get or have to the nerve to tell him.

I heard some footsteps behind me, and turn around to find Will Solace, head counsler of the Apollo Cabin, with his boyfriend, Nico Di Angelo, Head counsler of the Hades Cabin, walking towards me. I smile at them. Will smiles back, and, suprisingly, Nico does a bit too. 

As they walk by, Will slips me a note. I unwrap it. It says:

Heard your going to tell Austin. Good Luck.

- Will

P.S. He likes you, too (Don't tell him I told you that)

Does everyone know at this point? But the note gave me a boost of confidence. I take a deep breath, and walk over to the Apollo Cabin as it opens to reveal Austin and Kayla about to leave. 

" Hey, Austin!" I squeak out. No turning back now.

Austin looks over to me smiling a bit wider," Oh, Hi, Lucas!" 

I stutter," Um, Could I t-talk to you for a m-moment?" Gods, this is giving me anxiety. Is anyone else's heart beating faster than normal?

" Sure!" 

Kayla sighs," Just be quick, guys. I've got places to be." As soon as Austins turns to look at me, I see Kayla smirk at me. Apparently, everyone knows.

We walk a ways away from Kayla, who's still smirking mind you, and Austin turns to look at me," So, What did you want to talk about?" 

My mind shatters, and my heart starts to beat a hundred times faster as I forget what I was going to say. Deep Breaths. one. two. three. four. five. six. I've calmed down enough to think at a wonky angle. But at least I can think.

I can't say it slowly or I might chicken out so, I blurt out," I think your a sweet and amazing person and I've had a crush on you since we were fourteen and I think your absolutely delightful and would you go on a date with me?" My face heats up, and I'm sure I look like a tomato.

Austin looks absolutely astonished. I turn around, embarrased about to walk away, when Austin says," Lucas?"

I turn back around, to see Austin's blush as big as mine. He looked flustered, but also like he wanted to say something else. He took a step forward, closing the gap. I stop breathing.

I'm not sure who leaned in first, but I know one minute we were just standing there, flustered, and the next we were kissing. I never really understood what it meant when time stopped moving when you kissed someone. But now I do. It's like time stopped just for this.

Austin pulled back looking flustered all over again. " Yes, if the offers still up, I would go on a date with you."

~Six Months Later~

The date that very week when well. We hit it off, as most teenagers would say. We've been dating for six months now, and I'm proud to call Austin, my boyfriend. But sadly, The Aphrodite Girls have now created us a ship name, whatever that is, and have decided were perfect together. Like Percabeth, but on the milder side. Percabeth's their OTP, I think the word is.

And, happily, today just happens to be Valentines Day. I have the perfect gift planned. It's a good thing that the Aphrodite Girls will be to busy stalking Percy and Annabeth during Valentines Day, most likely videoing everything. And taking pictures for there Percabeth scrapbook.

Which is kind of creepy, to be honest.

" Austin!" I say as I catch up to him up to the Dining pavilion, giving him a kiss on the cheek. " Happy Valentine's Day, Love."

" Love you, too," Austin smiles. 

" After breakfast, I have a suprise," I tell him. He nods, but I can see the suspicion in his eyes. " You'll see." I kiss him on the cheek one last time before I go sit at the Athena table. I eat quickly. Dashing out of the pavilion as soon as I've gave my offering to the Athena. I quickly change into my nicest clothes, A plain black shirt with my black leather jacket with a pair of jeans and new sneakers. 

" Lucas!" I hear Austin call. " I've been looking for you. What's the suprise you were talking about?" 

" Just follow me." I check to make sure the tickets are in my pocket. " We're going into New York." 

" Where are we going?" Austin asks almost before we get there.

" You'll see."

We drive up to the Lincoln Center. Which just happens to have the New York Philharmonic playing today.

I hand over the tickets to the person at the door, and walk in hand in hand with Austin. He looks like a little kid on christmas day. 

I made sure we had gotten the best seats in the house. As we sat down, the introductions began to start. We had gotten there just in time. Halfway through, Austin was swaying to the music, and playing an imaginary saxophone.  As the first song abruptly stopped. Austin was still in a trance. 

He sat back in his seat though, leaning over to me saying," You are the best boyfriend ever. Love you." Austin gave me a peck on the lips. Valentine's Day is a wonderful holiday.

Is this too cheesey? Because even if it is. I loved making this chapter. Most of you probably thought I was going to make a Percabeth or a Solangelo horible mortal story or just a sweet oneshot. Nope. I made a new character, and a new ship that over the course of writing this I love. Love y'all and happy Valentines day!
