"Oh, hey Kiddo" Claudia said as I walked down the stairs
"Dustin do you copy, over" Mike said over the walkie
"Yes, over" Dust replied
"You need to come over for three hours tomorrow" he said
"That's a lot for one little plan" He said
"Yeah, the group has to have a... chat" he said "I already told Lucas"
"Oh ok I'll tell y/n/n" I said
"NO!" He yelled down the line as "it's a guy thing"
"Ew" I said grabbing the hot chocolate from Mom
"How long has she been there?" He asked frantically
"Just got here but I don't want to be there if your having a guy talk" i replied handing me the hot drink "probably about how Mike is in LOVE with El"

Dustin Pov
"No but it's about how dus-" Lucas stared
"ENOUGH" Dustin interrupted turning red in the face "Over and out"
"So who's the lucky girl?" She giggled taking a sip of hot coca
"I don't know what you're talking about" I said taking a drink, the new girl at school, Alex Sumner (Random person to make a time filler)
"Oh come on" she rested her head in her hands. "Context really points it out"
"F-fine" I said "BUT THATS ALL YOU'RE GETTING" I added
"Aw come onnn" she complained "I give amazing advice"
"Ok I'll describe but that's ALL" I said as we walked to my room.
"Ok. SPILL!!" She said excitedly "I've been waiting to do this with you guys!!"
"S-she" I said trying to find words that are generic enough so she doesn't catch on
"A girl, noted" she said making my laugh
"Yes, she's um my age" I said
"Ok" she said, she was going to put her input after everything I say, huh?
"She's like Phoebe Cates pretty but really really smart too" I said
"No one's Phoebe Cates pretty AND super smart" she butted in. Little did she know "it's mathematically impossible"
"Get this, she's into D&D and video games too" I smiled
"Pfft no" she said sarcastically "you can't be hot, smart, AND a geek"
"It's true!" I laughed
"I'm starting to think this girl is made up" she cocked her eyebrow.
"Nope" I replied "very real"
"Tell me more!!" She giggled
"She has really pretty hair and cool eyes" I said and regretted it right after, thinking I was a bit too descriptive.
"Ok" she said "do I know her?"
"Pfft- like I'd tell you that" I replied
"Fine" she said checking her watch "10:00 already?!" She always went to bed early and got up late. And she was still tired. It's those little things that made her my, practically, sister. She walked up to my room and told me goodnight, like she has every night for the past three years.
"Goodnight Dustin" she smiled turning off the side lamp
