As she finished the bread, you exited the room and thought about what you were doing and thought if it would be okay to sort of "adopt" her. You weren't financially ready for this, but you really wanted to. You went back into the room and asked her something.
"Paimon, do you have parents?" You asked.
"Nope, Paimon doesn't have parents!" She said.
"...Then how did you take care of yourself?" You asked another question.
"Paimon doesn't remember." She yawned.
"Oh. How would you feel, if I... Became your parent or something." You said awkwardly.
"Really?! Paimon would be super happy if you did! Will you?" She said excitedly.
You made your choice, you were going to be her mom (I wonder who will be the dads if you get what I mean ;D).
"Yes, I will!" You also said excitedly. She flew towards you and hugged you, and of course, you hugged back.
"Do I call you mom now?" She asked
"Yes, you can if you want." You said as you ruffled her hair. You realized she was sleeping already, so you carefully placed her down on the bed. Anyway, about the mora, you decided to call Xiangling to increase your payment, even if it was just a small amount.
"Yes Y/N? Please hurry, I don't have much time. You know, orders and stuff." She said.
"Could you increase my payment? Even if it's just a little bit, I have a child to take care of now-"
"YOU GOT PREGNANT? HOW ARE YOU GOING TO-"
"NO I DID NOT GET PREGNANT- I just- Somehow adopted a child..." You tried to say calmly.
"Oh. Okay, but can I see them soon? I'm really excited! And yes, I'll increase your payment by 100 mora, is that okay? "(Food name) Table 6!" Alright- I have to go now, bye Y/N!" She said excitedly.
"Yes, you can see her soon, and thank you, 100 mora is okay. Bye Xiangling!" You said as you ended the call. You sighed, and thought 'Why did I do this again?' as you crawled onto the bed. You went on TikTok and decided to stalk 5WIRL (watch all their videos).
You went on their account and saw that they had a new post after what felt like forever. The video said that there will be a new song out soon, and you got excited! They haven't released any songs for almost half a year, so you were really happy.
You wondered what it would be about, maybe a sad song? Maybe even a romance song you could add to your playlist, it could be anything. You started kicking your legs out of excitement but quickly stopped, realizing you might wake up Paimon.
Living with people is hard when your used to living by yourself.
Anyway, you thought about Paimon and her future, and decided to enroll Paimon into a school, that school being the school you work at. "Genshin School". (Im sorry for the lack of creativity, my braincells are dying. I'm not actually sure how to enroll someone into a school so I won't explain it with too much details.)
You signed up the form, now you have to wait around 1-2 weeks for her to also have a form to get into school. But you were worried, she wasn't very... Smart. You'd have to teach her, or else she would fail the form.
You woke Paimon up. She rubbed her eyes and yawned. "What did you wake Paimon for?.. Paimons soo tired.." She said with an extremely tired voice.
"I'm sorry Paimon, but you need to study. I have enrolled you to a school and you need to take a quiz so you can get in." You said.
"WHAT!? WHY?" She said, now sounding wide awake from shock.
"So you won't be stupid." You said.
"..Makes sense, I guess." She said sadly, as if she wanted to melt from reality this instant.
"Don't worry Paimon, I'll help you! I am a teacher after all." You said, sighing with relief that she said yes. You thanked the lords that you remembered what the entrance exam is like, otherwise she would be dead if you didn't
She had to study 3 subjects, Math, Science, and English. You had no idea how the hell you were going to teach her, but you would try anyway.
