A special place

-The Crow Call-

Amitys POV:

I woke up to see Luz wrapped around me asleep. I tried to get up while trying not to wake her, as I got up, I saw a crow fly by on the window. ''Amity Blight, where on earth are you? You're supposed to be grounded!'' The crow spoke, then I realized it was my mom! ''H-Hey Luz?'' ''What..?'' She said, barely awake. "I think my mom realized I snuck out..?'' Luz got up wide awake. ''Uh oh.'' We both heard a knock on the door. ''Hey kid? You ever gonna get up?'' ''Oh my god,oh my god, oh my god.'' I said, walking back and forth. "Uhh..'' Luz looked around the room. ''There! Hide in there!'' She said pointing at a closet. I opened the closet and hid inside. ''Sorry, you can come in!'' 

Eda walked in with a stack of books in her hands. ''Alright kid, today we're gonna hit the books, and I literally meant it.'' Eda put the books down and knocked them over with a bat. ''Good arm strength!'' She yelled. ''Uh, thanks Eda, but I have plans today.'' Luz started pushing Eda to the door. She opened the door and pushed Eda outside ''Thanks bye!'' Luz slammed the door shut and ran over to the closet. 

''Need help?'' She lended me her hand and got me out of the closet. ''Sorry about that.'' ''No, it's fine, really.'' I replied ''You should probably get going, before you get in more trouble.'' ''Yeah, you're probably right.'' I replied. 

Luz's POV: 

Amity didn't seem happy to go back to her home. If I were her, I would feel the same way. "I could walk you home, if you want?'' I said. ''Luz, you've been doing to much for me, I think-'' ''Amity, come on, please? I'll help deal with your mom.'' Amity thought for a moment, ''Fine, if you really want to.'' She replied. ''Yay!' I picked her up and squeezed her tight. '' Okay, okay, come on let's go.'' ''Wait, what about your stuff?'' ''Just leave them there.'' Amity winked after she finished her sentence, I felt my eyes glitter while staring at her. She grabbed my hand and we both jumped out of the window.
